Don Kreig is just a pirate from the East blue which is stated by Mihawk to be the weakest sea. remember Don Krieg can't even stay in Grandline and decide to flee for his life but now you're in Grandline itself and Ace is the second commander of some big shot pirate that dominated here. So I think you got a pretty great scope of him.

FINALLY CAUGHT UP! Hopefully I'll stay on top of your One Piece reactions from now on! Again, I'll do my best to avoid spoilers and "hints" in my comments, unless you directly ask about it. I really do love talking about this stuff. It may seem like a minor point, but I still find it noteworthy that Luffy managed to hit Smoker and Ace as he entered the restaurant; they're usually intangible, but because Luffy caught them off guard, he was able to hit them. Normally, experienced Devil Fruit users with powers like Ace and Smoker would be able to reflexively go intangible when attacked, but I think there's still an amount of mental preparation involved, meaning they still have to expect an attack is coming before doing it. Not that Luffy even attacked them, he just propelled himself to the place where there was food, and just accidentally hit Smoker and Ace as a result. I like that even though Luffy and Ace's goals directly conflict with each other, they're viewing it as friendly competition and don't let it sour their brotherly love. I I also like that those Baroque Works "Billions" members are so short-sided and stupid that they can only think of moving up the hierarchy of their organization when it comes to hunting Luffy and Ace. They legit had no idea what they're getting into with that. I also love that these chumps are such pushovers that Ace doesn't even bother using his fire powers... at least, until the Billions jump into their ships. So, it's worth noting that here is when the anime starts to differ from the manga; in the manga, Ace leaves shortly after taking care of the Billions, whereas in the anime, he sticks around for a while. I can only assume that because Ace was, and still is, one of One Piece's most popular characters, the anime would want to capitalize on this and have him be in more episodes. I have mixed feelings on this, but I'll elaborate on why that is later on. In fact, since Ace is traveling with the Straw Hat Pirates looking for Blackbeard, it might be a good idea for you guys to watch the entirety of episode 101, even though it's mostly filler save for the ending. I don't know if you noticed it, but the "couriers" delivering the Dance Powder to King Cobra were the same Baroque Works members who attacked Luffy and Ace in the last episode. Also, I always thought that it was called Dance Powder as a reference to rain dances, but I guess the whole "powder that causes rain and thus people dance with joy" explanation works, too. Hey man, react to whatever episodes you'd like, I'll be glad to watch them! You're commentary and impressions are great to listen to! I'm just glad I'm finally caught up so I'll be ready to watch it when you finally upload it!

--I don't know if Ace let Smoker off easy (though it's likely), but their powers are similar. They seem invulnerable when turned into their element. Luffy can't beat either head-on, and he knows it. --As for Ace's tattoos, it *looks like* he meant to write "ACE" but they wrote "S" by mistake and had to cross it out... A S C E. I know that's silly but it serves to make Ace look carefree. --The one on his back was mentioned to be the Whitebeard Pirate sign, which even Zoro recognized. You need balls to advertise that crew with Marines around. And Ace proved it! --The men who dropped the Dance Powder in town even had Baroque tattoos and were lame actors, but the people fell for the plan to frame King Cobra. --Ace says it is odd for a pirate like Crocodile to settle in one place or bother usurping a throne, speculating that there's an ulterior motive... --Only Luffy noticed that shadow in the sandstorm. I think it's implied to have been Crocodile, but even I'm not sure.
