Joyboy is an actual myth that was brought to the Carribean islands by slaves. Joyboy always smiles in the face of Despair and plays his drum creating an irresistible desire to dance to all who hear it.

I find it so cool they change from a full note to a half note. It makes it feel fast pace, and instead of cool serious like original Overtaken, to a more fun upbeat Overtaken which fits with the fun upbeatness of the embodiment of Gear 5 Edit: i edited this cause i had to refresh my music memory. To explain, i just wanted to say instead of it being, "1,2,3,4" it went "1n,2n".

Really wished that they included "Luffy's Performance", after or during his transformation, but I was pleasantly surprised to hear this in the episode. It was fun, great, epic, and fantastic overall. I was mostly smiling throughout the second half of it.

I got a little theory from the latest ep of One piece in regards to Joyboy, we can see he had the same DF as Luffy but failed in what he wanted to acomplish due to the WG during the void century, he might of been the Pirate king of that generation and then afterwards there were various Yonko but never a Pirate King until Rodger made it to Laugh Tale
