Sanji’s “I wanna go back to the Sunny” is up there with Nami’s “Luffy, help me” and Robin’s “I wanna live!” as moments where the Straw Hats put their unconditional trust in Luffy.

"It's just another failure, isen't it?" Hits so deep. Sanji knews what he did to Luffy was unforgivable. People forget that he actually agreed to Zoro about Usopp back in Water 7 to apologise. So he didn't say sorry, because he knew he wasn't allowed back on the ship anyway.

No I dont think that was the case, I think those words were just him saying he was a failure of a germa. I don't get why people keep bringing the Usopp thing when Sanji's situation is not the same whatsoever . Sanji situation is parallel to Robins in Enies Lobby, they were both tied down by their past and tried to rectify the situation themselves without dragging the other strawhats into their mess. Usopp left voluntarily and challenged the captain directly without anyone forcing him to do it, Sanji and Robin were forced to. Its so annoying to me that people kept saying how "Oooo I wonder how Zoro's gonna react to this" Obviously the same way he did with Robin, with open arms.

When Sanji finds Luffy, he is just skin and bone, but still his smile lights up upon seeing him, even when the food is ruined he still eats it and, like his mother, praises it, and even when Sanji shows reluctance to come back, Luffy smacks him to see sense and give him an 'I want to live' moment. There is a minor complication though, Sanji refuses to leave his family, as terrible as 80% of them are he can't just allow them to die, so there's no leaving yet - now we plan to crash the wedding. The Sanji angst of Whole Cake Island, is over! But if you look far into the future, there appears someone who won't so easily lie down and let the Straw Hats have their way. The third Sweet Commander Katakuri arrives, 5 and a half hours until the wedding

@@karmacean well it's not on youtube...and I miss the 3 videos in one. This one episode from time to time is just not he's style. just cause he's getting close to catch up to the anime. Like if you have a format and it works, keep it up. This was done with 0 explanation and it is what it is. But it's funny how when the youtube video comes out he's talking like he has uploaded the 3 in 1 like it's on he's patreon. Mid life crisis hits hard sometimes 😮‍💨

Plus it's the same number of episodes every week, not "one episode from time to time". It's fine that you preferred the old format but that doesn't mean this new one didn't come without good reason.

@@karmacean I mean, what works best for him man, cause at the end of the day, youtube is ruthless with strikes and claims. I understand that. And honestly he is so passionate about this series that I really don't want anything bad to happen to him. But if a communication came about this change, it was on some other platform but not on youtube. He did posted in the community 3 months ago about changes to the audio...but before 807 he uploaded the 3 episode format...and then out of the blue came the une episode reaction. And I really don't have an issue with this, as mentioned before, whatever works for him, works for everyone. I just said it's funny how he does the 3 episode format, but when it's uploaded on youtube is amusing as they are single uploads. Hope you didn't get the wrong impression that I was attacking him or anything. I just pointed out the obvious without knowing that he just cuts the patreon reaction in 3 separate videos and then uploaded them separately whenever they need to be uploaded.

As much as I love Ruff's reactions, this daily drip feed is getting maddening. I want to spend at least two, as many as four, episodes with Ruff at a time. I don't care if it's only 2 or 3 times a week. It's especially maddening since we know Ruff isn't doing single episode sessions. I liked it better when each of his sessions was a whole video, so it was like we were there on the couch with you.

It's sad to imagine how strong Sanji's self sacrificing is. He was a major player in the Straw Hats not letting Robin lie her way out of the crew. There's no reason he should have thought he'd be able to do what they wouldn't let her. They didn't even know her like that, she invited herself onboard, Luffy refused his refusal.

That punch was payback for the first reason Sanji thought he wasn't worthy rejoining the crew. And Luffy as a captain knew very well that such an act cannot go unpunished, so with anger and love he struck back. After that, his dueling debt was forgiven. :_)
