Wealth, Fame, Power. Gol D. Roger, The King of the Pirates, attained this and everything else the world had to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to the sea. "You want my treasure, you can have it! I left everything I gathered together in one place. Now you just have to find it!" These words lured men to the Grand Line in pursuit of dreams greater than they ever dared to imagine. This is the time known as the Great Pirate Era!
So climb aboard and bring along all your hopes and dreams, Together we’ll find everything that we’re looking for, One Piece Compass left behind, I’ll only slow us down, your heart will be your guide, raise the sails and take the helm That legendary place, that the end of the map reveals, is only legendary till someone proves it real Though it all, though all the trouble times, though the heartache and thought the pain, know that I will be there to stand by you, just like I Know You’ll STAND BY ME So climb aboard and bring along all your hopes and dreams, Together we’ll find everything that we’re looking for, There’s always room for you, if you want to be my friend We are, we are on the cruise, WE ARE
It was for the sake of the joke because I do love the line in the song, it really isn't that serious. Thanks for actually caring though, it's rare to come across that on the internet.
I’m a 44 year old mother of 2 sons, 24 years old and 22 years old. My sons and I share the love of One Piece together. I’m a manga reader foremost and am caught up with the most recent chapter of the Egghead arc. I read the latest chapters when they came out during my lunch break and found myself breaking down by how heartbreaking they are. Kuma’s backstory is something else ifykyk. Btw… I am an anime watcher second. I am also caught up with the most recent episode of One Piece. This opening and opening 26 are PEAK! Hiroshi Kitadani doesn’t miss! The animation and song perfectly suit the introduction of the final saga. I am thankful that my sons introduced me to One Piece. I’m now trying to pass on the torch to others that are unaware of this masterpiece. Sending love to all of my Nakama! ❤️🏴☠️
@@samanmaliwijetunge4907 Thank you so very much for the heartwarming reply! I’m so lucky to have my sons! I would never have given One Piece a chance if it was not for them. One Piece has become my favorite anime of all time. Watching One Piece has filled a part of my soul that I never knew needed comfort. It will stay with me till the end of my days. I’ve have been watching anime since I was in my early 20’s. I began my quest into anime with Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, Samurai Champloo, Paranoia Agent, and Android Kikaider on Adult Swim at that time. The first anime I introduced my sons to was Android Kikaider and they loved it even though it was depressing. The anime is old but it’s good. As time has passed on anime has become my primary source of entertainment. I have tried watching regular shows on streaming platforms nowadays but they don’t fill the need. Vinland Saga, Hunter x Hunter, Re:Zero, Monster, JJK, Konosuba, Clannad: After Story take up my time now (there are many others which I have not mentioned). Although I may be in my 40’s, IDGAF, anime is my first choice of entertainment. One Piece and its world building is otherworldly. Nothing compares to it and never will. Oda is the GOAT and no one can change my mind otherwise. Love to you all my Nakama! ❤️🏴☠️
I started reading 3 years ago and I can say the same thing. One Piece is a fucking life changing manga. It made me laugh and cry harder than any books I've ever read combined. It's a literary masterpiece.
Just watched the Alabasta arc again and I must say, the goodbye of Vivi and the Crew is still by far the best use of this song in my opinion! So emotional and fitting, sadness and joy in perfect union.
It’s the final minutes of the final episode. This starts playing, as the straw hats say their last few sentences of dialogue. Luffy says something funny, and everyone laughs. The camera pans out, and the one piece logo fades in. As the lyrics come in, the screen goes to black and the final credits begin over a compilation of the best moments of the series. The song slowly fades out, and a “the end” screen plays. Cut to personal video message from Oda, detailing his final messages about one piece.
Some guy at odas hospital:oda the last volume of one piece where is it? Oda: HAHAHA..the last volume of one piece?if you want it you can have it...Find it I left it there in that place Edit:nice
this will probably be played, surely. same as the 'We Go' OP, it is already been played over and over at the end of every ep, tho in different versions also to some scenes at the later eps since it got released
I swear to god, if Toei plays this song when Luffy and his crew found the One Piece Imma cry with joy and pleasure. One Piece reveal will be the best reveal in anime history
i don't care what anyone says, One Piece is the most enjoyable anime i've ever watched, it's that type of anime where you say "alright i'll watch 1 episode" but then you end up watching like 10, it's that addictive
I recently started as well and I'm currently cruising through Alabasta. The fact I've been watching for 100+ episodes and I'm still itching for more is incredible. So far, a strong contender for greatest Anime of all time. Oda-sensei should be proud.
You are here for either of these three: 1. You started the journey with Luffy 2. You liked the song and developed LSS 3. You reached the 1000th episode.

one piece is really unique in that sense. I really think its one of the few stories that trully feels like "it's not about about the destiny, it's about the voyage". one piece really IS the trasure for the world
I started watching One Piece when I was in college (2002). 2 decades later I'm watching it from the beginning with my kids! Sharing laughs with them while watching this is the best feeling ever! Thank you Eiichiro Oda!!
no one: not even the singer: me at the beginning of the song: wealth, fame, power. gol d roger the king of the pirates obtained this and everything else the world had to offer-
*Wealth, Fame, Power. The man who acquired everything in this world, the Pirate King, Gol D. Roger. The final words that were said at his execution, sent people to the seas. "My wealth and treasures? If you want it, I'll let you have it. Look for it, I left all of it at that place!". Men now, chasing their dreams, head towards the Grand Line. The world now enters a Great Age of Pirates!*
Im a big anime fan, but One Piece never resonates with me. Now I hear this song and sing along and cry. Little context, one of my best friends was a big big fan of this anime, and he died last year. Now I'm watching it to finish what he begun, as a homage to him. We are gonna see the One Piece my friend, I promise.
I cant go without singing the whole arittakeno yume o kakiatsume sagashi mono sagashi ni yuku no sa Pocket no coin, soreto You wanna be my friend? We are, we are on the cruise! We are!
This better be playing when 1 luffy finds the one piece and becomes king 2 zoro beats mihawk and becomes the greatest swordsman 3 nami finishes the world map 4 usopp is recognized as a brave warrior of the sea 5 sanji finds the all blue 6 chopper finds a cure for every disease 7 robin finds the rio poneglyph 8 franky stares at the sunny 9 brook reunites with laboon
In 1997: Doctor: You only have one day to live, what's the last thing you want to do? Patient: Read One Piece's final chapter. Death: Hey, that's cheating...
@@litinupcito2044 unless they actually could find replaceable VA that sounds the exact same if not close to the same voice actors who have died like the VA of sengoku in the anime, may he rip, i don't think its possible to continue OP lmao since OP has 5 years left before it ends.
damn i love the op community, anyways see you then you guys better keep your word and acually come back . also dont die try to stay alive as much as possible k bye now btw the date is september 1 2020 on this day in 2024/2025 you MUST COME BACK OR ILL LOOK FOR U
I'm at Egghead Island in the manga, Wano in the anime, and just about to enter the Grandline in the live action, but I have to say that ending scene from Arabasta Arc in Anime will forever be my favourite, that was when I fell in love for One Piece, always gave me goosebumps when the crew was running away being chased by a Marine squadron while this song played.
Wealth, fame, power... Gold Roger, the King of the Pirates, attained this and everything else the world had to offer. And his dying words drove countless souls to the seas. “You want my treasure? There once was a man who was King of the Pirates, Gold Roger was his name. His very last words drove men to the sea. "My treasure? It's yours if you want it, but you'll need to find it first! I left everything I own in one piece." This is the legendary Age of the Pirates. They're heading for the Grand Line on the greatest treasure hunt ever. Dreams will come true for he who finds..."One Piece." This was the original opening narration of 4Kids version of We Are, which was scrapped for the notorious pirate rap.
Imagine one piece finally comes to an end, we are starts playing and it shows that Luffy is on the execution platorm after becoming the king of pirates. And his last words are.. "If you want my treasure you can have it. Find zoro only he knows where it is." Wow 711 likes lol
@Disconight_ Rashinban Nante Jyuutai No Moto Netsu Ni Ukasare kaji wo Toru No Sa Horoi Rabutetta Tarara No Chizu Mo Tashikameta no Nara Densetsu jyanai!
I’m only on ep32 and this song already makes me happy. If it wasn’t for covid and the free time it gives me, I would have never started the journey. But already no regrets!!
i started it three days ago, im on ep. 36 now and is addicted to this song but idc i just loveee it edit: Im on ep. 201 now aaaahhhhh i cant stooooopppp
Imagine Luffy found One Piece and became Pirate King Zoro became the greatest swordsman Sanji found All Blue Nami drew maps all over the world Robin found out the truth about the world Usopp became the bravest warrior of the sea Franky took care of Sunny till the end Chopper saved millions of lives Brook travelled the whole world and returned to Laboon Jimbei finally stops the discrimination against fishmen And then this song plays...
I heard from someone that Luffy might shift fishman island to the surface of the ocean and then break the redline, uniting all the oceans and thus forming the 'All Blue', by then Nami will have most of the map charted. Usopp might sacrifice himself for a great cause and then be revived by chopper. Brook would be reunited with Laboon and franky can exclaim himself the creator of the greatest ship ever after the thousand sunny finally reaches the end of the journey all while Bink's Sake playing faintly in the background
Me: *plays this song on speakers* My brother: One Piece sucks! Me: *pauses this song* Me: *starts it over again* Me: *plays this song louder* Me: *stretches arm backwards* Me: .... Gomu Gomu no... Me: *punches lil bro* Me: .. *_PISTOL_*
@@givemeyourtoast5381 To think that I didn't wanna watch One Piece at first cuz I thought it was boring and long. Now I feel like I've never experienced anything like this. God bless my friend who made me watch it.
That must explain why we are and over the top are the only op openings i like but their not only the only op openings i like but over the top is top 5 of my favorite anime songs
@@heroeus8173 We can is an opening that I dont actually really like that much, the visuals and song are just kinda fine and not too great. The other 3 hes done are all phenomenal though
My father and me watches one piece every day and we have completed 700+ episodes in a year and I explained what is anime. And he loves this and other types like one punch man, attack on titan, jujutsu Kaisen jojos bizzare adventure demon slayer

@@zantaro4301why do people call it Mid Piece? Calling it One Piss is funnier (I like One Piece btw but if you are gonna hate it on it be clever at least)
They actually played a rendition of this in ep.4 of Netflix's LA version when the Going Merry set forth on her maiden voyage, I legit nearly teared up hearing it.
I'm actually wishing that Netflix will at least release a promo version of an opening arrangement of the whole season in a short clip in WE ARE instrumental. If they did, it would gain so much love even for a 1.5 min clip.
To me, this is the greatest Story told in the past 20+ years! A Timeless Tale, Truly! Manga and Anime! Congratulations to all who now await the 1000th episode!
REST IN PEACE FOR OUR BROTHER AND SISTER WHO ALREADY DIED BEFORE WATCHING ONE PEACE END, I WISH WE ALL ONE PEACE FANS CAN WATCH THE ENDING BEFORE WE DIE ❤️

NaruPeak? you mean the same show with useless female cast? NaruPeak? you mean the same show the barely anybody know? NaruPeak you mean the same show that only got 250 Million manga sales?
I’m just at episode 188 and I already miss the first episodes, I haven't even finished one piece but at the mere thought that sooner or later it will end, I feel a great nostalgia because in a short time One Piece has become part of my life and has improved it. I’ve not had a depressive crisis for a week thanks to One Piece. It will always have its special place in my heart.
I’m not a corny guy nor do I like expressing myself much but one piece truly changed my life, it was the first time a fictional group of characters was able to help me get through the bad in life seeing this crew from the beginning to where they are now makes me feel I can do anything saying I love this show devalues how much it has impacted my life, this song reminds me of the day I decided to watch the show, I was bored and just getting into anime and thought ppl were saying gud stuff abt it so it’s probably pretty gud, now having watched it, it’s the perfect show, the sense of adventure is like nothing I’ve ever watched each character with individual personality, there are no important characters that are boring each one brings something new to the table, I’ve cried laughed and been on the edge of my seat more times during this show than any other piece of fiction, if your thinking of watching this show, if u want to be taken on the adventure of lifetime do watch it it’s worth every second, thank u Eichirro Oda for getting me through the toughest part of my life so far, I’m not ready for this show to end but I enjoyed every second of it so please do yourself a favour and watch this show
bruh I feel the EXACT SAME way this past year I lost many friendships and I was in a point where I just felt empty and didn't know what else I could do with everything going on but like you said as corny as this sounds, I started watching some anime shows and then I began this one this past summer and boy..... its like I'm living an alternate reality where the strawhats are my friends and seeing them live life to the fullest really made me feel better lolol. it sounds so corny to say an anime makes you feel happy and better but its the truth with this Gem. plus discovering what the one piece really is is keeping me going, like i wanna live longer lol. so I totally feel you man.
Same man this masterpiece is that good that it can change lifes in the a better way. Oda is a truly genius that deserve the tittle of the best mangaka ever. One piece 4 life
