"good" and "evil" are subjective terms in one piece. on a technical level, the straw hat pirates are "bad" because they are pirates. but they don't commit acts that one would say is "piracy". on the flip side, the marines, the law enforcement organization of one piece, is "good" because they protect people around the world from pirates. but they also enforce the corrupt rule of the government. but if you really wanna dive deep into one piece, i recommend super eyepatch wolf's vids on one piece. it's really the best place to start.

For me one piece is more of a drama than an action, there's so many emotion in the show that either Will make you laugh or cry. And trust me, one piece had the best fictional female character, they are very strong, kind, brave and badass. Especially the mother figure. Btw you actually kinda look like Robin with the hair style and outfit, very pretty. Thank you for the reaction

One piece's not as simple as good guy vs. bad guy. It's more like individuals with their own different goals in different factions coexisting in a gigantic world.

Unfortunately most animes sexualize girls, it's just fanservice. I personally don't mind it unless it's forced, but it really isn't out of the norm for animes. But yeah, One Piece has one of the greatest story writings ever, you should definitely give it a shot, don't let the amount of episodes intimidate you.

I also thought Robin was Sanji’s girlfriend when I first saw that opening, which was years before I actually discovered One Piece, when I happened to catch part of the Jaya arc on a German channel while on holiday in the Black Forest of all things.

I like how you were able to have a loose idea about the plot of One Piece as you were going through all the openings. First things first, this is a story about pirates. And our main character Luffy and his crew are pirates too. But he is not one of the "evil" guys as you've asked, he just thought that a pirate's life would be fun and he decided to become a pirate (loosely explaining without spoilers). I think the 2 most important themes of this anime series is: 1. having adventures on sea, and 2. friendship. Which is why you had a feeling that they were living the life on sea, and I think you were correct. Overall, One Piece is funny, motivational, and even sad at times. The author of the series tackles real-life issues very expertly with his stories. It's one of the longest running anime series ever, but I believe you would really like it.

The thing about One Piece is that there are no cut-dry "good" and "bad" characters. Like, the Strawhat Pirates steal plenty of gold, but they also help entire nations, and don't get me started on the Marines. That's just an example, but that's something I've noticed most people who do these reactions don't realize.

See good and bad people cant really be a term used for this show but technically pirates are supposed to be the bad guys in the marines eyes

You skipped Opening 7, but that's nearly the same as Opening 1. Just with the voice actors singing it. So you didn't miss much.

the music and imagery are pretty de-synced. you outta try and watch out for that in the future. if you decide to start a series reacting to One Piece, i’d say go for it. those kinds of videos have been doing pretty well as of late, plus this show is just hella good. i highly recommend watching One Piece, weather you record yourself doing so or not.

(also you shouldn't try to bring stuff from the opening to the anime just like you were asking in opening 3 if they were running or using the boat). :v Also just correcting: ''Couldn't locate opening 9'' Actually you did watch opening 9 but the one you didn't saw was 7 which isn't important because its just the same first opening because in that arc they had episodes showing their backstories so the first opening was being added again for these episodes. To give a quick run down, The main character-Luffy and the rest of the crew are pirates. Which is obviously illegal so the marines are chasing them, so the marines are supposed to be the good guys but to the main characters they are the bad guys, and vise versa with the main characters being good guys to us, but technically they're wanted criminals with bounties and all. Before the show started, like 20 years before (I think?) there was this dude who "had everything the world had to offer" and was known as the Pirate King. And he also had the legendary treasure called the one piece. When he eventually got excucuted he told the world that basically, if they can find his treasure they can have it. But nobody has ever found it, though some people kinda know where it is- its just VERY hard to get to. And if you find the one piece then you are then labeled the pirate King and that's what the Main character wants to be. Because the person with the most freedom is the pirate King. Also every crew member (there are 9 that you saw.) each have their own dreams that they can accomplish by joining him, and he helped all of them deeply so they follow him and pledge to make him the king. So like, the reindeer that you love, Chopper, he is a doctor. And his dream is to find a medicine that can cure any and all illnesses. (because of his tragic ass backstory. Same with every straw hat. (the name of his pirate crew is the straw hat pirates, because his epithet is straw hat because of his hat and he is the captain. So the crew are often called straw hats.)) I don't think you'll ever find a story so we'll write and intricately woven as one piece. The author is phenomenal. And though it might not look it the story features just about every real live problems and has amazing world building. Like low key you could spend years trying to remember every detail about this show and you'd still probably never come close. Also just I forgot to mention that nobody knows what the one piece is, not even the audience so like it's a constant journey to figure out what it is, where to find it and how to get to it. I'll stop talking now it's 2am and I'm going off on a sleep deprived rant. Please upload the post time skip soon!

The people with scars on their face are not bad always but they are always bad-ass. They are strong physically and mentally. They can handle any situation and are reliable generally and due to that reason those scars are the remanents of their battles and struggles that signify their strength as a Character even though they are aesthetic by nature. PS: They are all a pirate group. And they literally live on that ship. **** That girl is not his girlfriend. She is a shipmate and friend ***** In one piece most of the character motivations are realistic, in the sense almost every character is grey not either good or bad. That the beauty of one piece. But some characters are selfish for petty/trivial or harmless things and some r selfish for things that can cause harm for others. Amost Every important character has their own backstory, motivations, ideologies, dreams, emotions etc. ******* The story is the moustache guy at the beginning who was about to be executed was called the Pirate king who possessed the most valuable treasure known as one piece which he hid somewhere in the ocean called Grandline. After this all the pirates in the world started searching for it called the 'great pirate age'. Our main character Strawhat Luffy aspires to find the one piece and become pirate king and he strives adventure and freedom. He attracts other people who started liking him and flowed him as his crew -The Straw hat pirates. All go on the adventure in the Grand line ocean in search of one piece from Island to Island. And obviously as pirates are outlaws, government marines try to hunt them. Also there will be sqwables with other pirates.

the scars in anime in general are because of fights, in one piece is because you got betrayed by someone and nearly killed you or took away your eye xD or because you must train , so you get a scar in the eye... and you must train other senses but the vision, you know? is very very weird i know but thats how it is xD you are so pretty

Of all the fighting anime I’ve watched one piece in my opinion has the most layers of any of them. But at the same time it has more fun in its own world than any show I’ve ever watched. You can be dying of laughter one episode and close to tears the next! And the main cast really feels like a family
