I don't care how people make fun of how hearty and fatty this meal is, if i were to spend 6 hours a day doing heavy labor, this would be my go to meal. Much more energy efficient and fulfilling than the sugar saturated stuff people eat for breakfast everyday like cereal or poptarts
I live in germany, but me and my family are asians. And to confirm stereotypes we also had a chinese restaurant. Every Saturday we would eat breakfast which was essentially an english breakfast before my mom and cooks would do prep work for the next week. Always happy when saturday came around
im sure living off hot pockets isnt going to be that much cheaper than eating a healthy poor mans lunch... or breakfast. most third world countries eat healthier than that ;)
NitrogenAX fr 😂 I do breakfast meals like this when i haven’t eatin breakfast and it’s already like 12:00 at noon lol. Which is rare but it happenes sometimes
In America, this kind of breakfast at home just costs $20 for 3-4 days a week. Most of the ingredients are frozen and canned food. And for a heavy meal like this, probably need more dessert to balance the fat. Consumes soft drink instead of tea.
Eh, have a soft drink after a big meal load with that much fat and protein sound kinda... I prefer to a cup of lemon juice in plain soda to better digest the big meal.
First off I love the food you’re cooking and the aesthetic your video gives off..but as a amateur film maker I really appreciate the shot placement and detail you go into getting the perfect focus and setting up frame. I know that can sometimes be the most difficult part of shooting a video
YESS that has to be said, and also too the food can’t pause cooking so you really have to be on the ball and get the camera/cameras into different angles and quickly
Lmao pretty much all aesthetic though, not much cooking done here. Not saying I'm an expert chef, but dude just puts a bunch of shit together on a pan.
People in England don't eat like this everyday. This kind of breakfast was more for Farmers and Shepherds who would be doing heavy manual labor most of the day and something like this would keep them going until tea around 2pm.
Just curious, back in the 70s and 80s, what's a traditional British breakfast for non-labor workers (office workers)? I'm thinking about doctors, lawyers, analysts, etc.
Nothing wrong with it if you have one egg, one sausage, one slice bacon and bread and a spoonful of everything else. For a six-foot guy, is two of everything really so terrible to get you from 6am to noon? Veggies and beans aren’t fattening.
always cook the meat first in the pan, this will render fats and add to flavour next add onions, bacon. mushrooms and tomatoes, baked beens, eggs last. always cook the stuff that takes the longest to cook first.
This looks like a delicious large amount of calories to start your day, love it. Would Soooo much rather have this huge breakfast than classic American breakfast which is basically just dessert with eggs and bacon.
@@libertyjustice8060 I think he's referring to the pancakes with syrup, muffins, biscuits 'n gravy, donuts, etc. Of course not all Americans eat like that but I've been in the Midwest and in the South where sweet pastries are a staple part of a "nutritious breakfast"
Whenever I make a breakfast remotely on this scale (weekends) which is not very often because I rarely eat breakfast, I legitimately end up having to go into hibernation in the first hour...
I once rented a room on a British pub and when i came down in the morning the pubowner served me this, I stared in disbelief and asked if they really ate like this every morning and he said no but because I was a guest I deserved it.So I ate it and after that I was content until 1700-1800 hours.
So i have a question. The mushrooms stayed there since the very beginning. Wouldnt they get really burnt on the underside ?? Laying there with the same side down while all the other stuff gets finished.. and ur right, I'm no fun at parties
When I see this I think this is an excessive amount, yet I never regret eating a breakfast like this, and when I do I typically don't eat again until dinner.
@@twinkstance Ok! I take it back, after watching closely I believe it's a female, plus the profile picture of the channel is female as well! So yep, your are right!
sacvuvgefuis indeed! They also fuck up other countries and deny them to seek asylum refuge when they wouldn’t even have to seek asylum if they didn’t fuck up their country
@sacvuvgefuis and your kind of ignorance and generalization are just embarrassing. Read again a good history book and you'll see how those people (and European in general) are also responsible for a great portion of all the inventions and technologies you're using now. Don't spit on the plate where you eat ;)
The ignorance and generalisation in this thread is astounding. You can’t define seventy million people under the blanket of one description, especially when colonialism has nothing to do with an English breakfast? Let us not bring up the abhorrent pasts of all your countries as well.
@@marcello7781 You can definitely spit on a plate if the person giving it to you stole or smashed all your other ones against your face and is using the fact that it gave you the one as proof of its moral and cultural superiority.
*puts half a stick of butter in pan* “Oh I see, we use about the same amount here in America sometimes as well-“ *puts other half of stick in pan* “good, glad to see we’re not fucking around today”
Not a heart attack at all. This is actually quite good for the caloric value it has and provides a good amount of everything needed to kickstart your day
Thanks for sharing such a classic and traditional preparation. Really appreciate your efforts to present a good video like this. Please share more videos on English foods
Yo, you need to see asian food for breakfast. As Indonesian, I decided this is the best non asian food challenger in terms of calories because our food for breakfast bassicaly just a bunch of carbs and oil 😂
Me: "Hey boss I'm going to be late for work today." Boss: "Alright. What's wrong? Everything ok?" Me: "Everything's fine. I'm just making breakfast." Boss: "..."
Its the quality of the food, here alot of americans eat processed food. A dumb friend of mine would rather have a shitty smashed Mcmuffin instead of some sausage, potatoes, eggs, and fresh bread etc
Seems similar to a cowboy single skillet breakfast and your right even folks like me don't eat those every morning... sometimes I have a southern style country breakfast with pork chops or steak instead of sausages and bowl of grits.
Agreed if you're the regular office chair farter, this will just make you fat AF. For hard physical labour this would be very valuable esp when you don't get lunch.
@@k3kboi665 Uh... bacon, sausage, eggs, toast, pancakes, cereal, donuts... the normal breakfast foods. For America anyway, I'm guessing you're from another country if vegetables for breakfast is normal for you.
Dude, English breakfast takes like 30 mins max (for 1). If you have hash brown, you can skip the potatoes (or vice versa) + you can skip the blood sausage too. Also add a bit of garlic to the mushrooms (not traditional, but just really nice) 1 pan, really quick
