The fact that this manga still has comedic value when it comes to serious moments is so baffling to me, really shows how overpowered Saitama is.

Seeing Saitama both realise and admit that he needed Genos more than Genos needed him was really heartwarming and incredibly sad at the same time. Honestly Saitama was a total loner before Genos came along. He didnt even realise the town he lived in was abandonned. He was the hero of his apartment, now hes the hero of the universe, and thats all thanks to Genos.

"Bring it on. One hand is all I need for you." Damn that gave me the chills

The fact that Saitama lost everything, lost control of his emotions, lost his clothes, lost Genos and he still kept holding onto Genos’ core all throughout that fight. And in the end, only Genos was able to remember and see all that by downloading the memory. Imagine how grateful he must feel to have someone as godlike as Saitama avenge him in that alternate future.

...That moment when Saitama gives Garou the breaking speech. Normally, the villain tries to break the hero with one of those, but here, it's the hero who is willing to see their flaws and admit we're not so different, you and I...

I can't wait when this gets animated in like, 20 years.

Just remember Yusuke Murata drew 74 pages of this action and high quality with his assistants IN TWO WEEKS. Having a tablet and modern computers to help you out really helps out with a manga, but still 74 PAGES is just insane. Those poor poor MAPPA animators when they get to this.

The Omnidirectional Serious Punch is insane. Its not just afterimages. Saitama is so fast he literally creates copies of himself that physically manifest in the Universe. It means he can hit you mutilple times at the same time, from every angle.

Our grandchildren are going to be in for a real treat when this gets animated.

At this point we wouldn't even have to wait for a studio, all of you guys posting these videos should band together and make season 3,

The fact that he can fight with something delicate in his hand and yet be able to deliver planet destroying punch is just on a whole different level.. this author is insane on so many level

Legend says the sound of his sneeze is still traveling the universe, causing all sorts fear among all those who hear it.

Fun fact: The latest chapter confirmed that the sneeze completely destroyed Jupiter and not just the gasses.

People keep talking about how the Serious Sneeze was the greatest feat while forgeting that 2 serious punches colliding with each other destroyed millions of stars, creating an empty void in a large portion of the universe

Saitama gave Boros a thrill in a fight, sure he was holding back, but as he admitted, he had fun. He knew he'd beat him, so he prolonged it for the both of them. When he fought speed, he never took him seriously, speed enjoyed the fighting too much and Saitama stopped him. But Garou. Garou made a grave mistake. Saitama didn't want to just hurt him, or kill him. He wanted him to understand very clearly. That Garou will never reach his power. He always be left in the dust, he will always drag behind, Saitama showed Garou, that he is weak. Slapping him around with one hand. Humiliating Garou, because Saitama knew, the only way to defeat such an opponent, is to not break their body, but their ego.

I think it was insanely clever for Saitama to hold onto genos's core throughout the fight as a way to subtly force him to hold back, even when going all out. Even when he's using his full power, he's still handicapped. Genius, and also extremely infuriating.

Seeing this fight all together and animated really makes you realize how one sided this fight was

Who knew doing 100 pushups, 100 sit-ups, 100 squats, and a 10km run each day for 3 years could get you to beating a galaxy destroying omnipotent god

coming back, nearly a year later, and god damn you did so fkn well on this, honestly thank you for it

I've never seen manga animation before and assumed it was a lesser form of anime...oh how I was dead wrong. I wish you had a full studio backing you to make these for so many different manga. I'm excited to explore more of these.

The moment it was revealed that Saitama was holding to Geno's core for "support" I almost cried. I always thought that he was going to try to restore the core somehow, but everything clicked then. It was a beautiful One Punch moment for sure. Kudos for the vid, it's amazing

8:03 The transition when garou said “what would you know”, that touch you gave to saitama holding geno’s core, it’s just so wonderful yet sad.. loved it.

The most heartbreaking and favourite part for me is Garou grieving Tareo's death and about to snap at Saitama, only to realize that both are in emotional shambles over their loss. Its so poignant to see that emotional connection between the two that allows them to work together to redo the future. I hope this version of Garou, though gone, finds the happiness he wanted.

if genos somehow saw how much saitama did for him, he would probably cry to happiness and be amaze with saitama's power at the same time

You know what I realized, Saitama lost everything, but remember what he told Gorou at the end? "You sure, you weren't holding onto him for support?", Saitama was doing exactly that throughout the whole battle, holding onto Genos's core, for support.

8:10 his eyes rising as he noticed that Saitama also clung to genos for support, just like he did was the final nail in the coffin for him. Beautifully illustrated.

In fact that the author has the ability to imagine and draw this whole thing is totaly amazing. I love one punch man not only because of the character, the timeline, the storyline its out of the box, and of course the art itself of the manga, I love the details.

Kinda missed one of the most important parts of the manga where Garou talks about Saitamas limitless strength/power and how he can no longer copy him because his power is increasing every second on a insane rate.

Honestly blast was quite underwhelming, probably because he was just supposed to be slightly stronger than Boros according to the prophecy.

Knowing how much saitama can adapt to every fight, this makes even more dangerous. If he can master time like Garou can then there won’t be anyone to stop him.

the way this is animated reminds me a lot of how people animated the fights from Stardust Crusaders before the anime was out. Between the spins the animator takes on the panels coupled with the passion to make the moments of the fight really stick out, it's charming

1:10 to 1:32 is my favorite moment, in the manga on its own I was happy to see Saitama actually being pissed off way more than when people break his appartment. Plus the way he looks like he finally decided to do the hero job not as a hobby, but as an actual duty/missiom and this video just captived that moment and made it so much better. Theory in addition: Who do you think are Blast's allies?

This...this is peak story telling. The absolute mind requirements to create this epic from a source that is near perfection is what the Internet was created for. To bring this art into a world that probably doesn't deserve it.

I've seen a few animations of this fight, but this animation remains my favorite. Even though others are better animated, the tone contained in each of these scenes and the music used in them is... spot on for me. Perfect. Well-crafted. Well done.

9:23 explanation so saitama went back in time when he never existed and punched past garou so saitama that never existed punched garou thus 0 punches and gives him immeasurable speed feat and he was sent flying to his past saitama counterpart because they locked eyes and made a time paradox

The amount of skill you have, taking the existing manga and making it into an outstanding animation alone is enough on its own. But the level of work to put in the sound and what I would consider the actual conversational timing is what makes this adaption phenomenal. Great work 👍🏽

Almost everyone is giving credit to saitama for the end..well he deserves it as the fight was already one sided and other heroes but one contribution is the bond between garou and tareo..in hunger of power, garou forgot what he lost and that made him change..what an absolute masterpiece,those characters,those animation~ totally sick and badass
