I serviced this cuckoo and adjusted all of the wires in the test stand. Everything was working well. But once it was on the wall, it would only run for about an hour. Walls aren't always plumb, especially if you live in a house over 100 years old like me! You can try hanging it somewhere else or make adjustments for the wall.

I still love that "V" slot that the leader assembly hangs on to. I typically pull the crutch toward the rear of the case but with this system you can change the position. I dont know why it wasnt adopted. Another great video. 182 subscribers. Keep it up. Thanks for the shout out. God bless.

Maybe it was a special piece for this clock. Everything is so on top of the next lever or wire, I don't think it would run if it weren't adjustable.

This was what I use to leave out. Now I explain the fine adjustments do take time and parents. This way they don't think we are always metrical workers, lol.

If your clock is stopping about every hour, I would look at the motion works. Also the chain wheel on the time side rotates about once every hour on a regula number 25 movement,could have a bent tooth in the chain wheel.

@@paulcorn6114 no it ran fine once I got the pendulum leader wire off the wood!
