This may have been the best tournament ever. At least IMO the best since the turn of the millennium. It had everything: Early round upsets by Vermont and Bucknell, epic moments like Illinois' comeback against Arizona and Patrick Sparks' ridiculous game-tying shot, and a well-contested title game that pitted two very evenly matched teams with completely different strengths against each other.

Such an emotional roller coaster ride of a championship season particularly when you consider the seniors on that year’s team were freshmen on that 8-20 squad

Amongst the greatest ncaa tournaments in history. Particularly the two elite 8 Saturday games with West Virginia and Louisville and Illinois and Arizona. 2 all time classics.

One of the best times in college basketball. One because my Tarheels won but every team was stacked. Everyone basically stayed for 3 years at least… teams aren’t as talented as they used to be
