Adding my recent experience... I had a damaged wisdom tooth. The dentist tried to extract it. Couldn't as he tried for the 2nd time. Jabbed the back of my gums, hitting one of the tonsils. Im using salt water, drying water..and taking antibiotics. Giving it a day or two. To see if swelling goes down

hello dr i don't have any big bump tonsil on both side but i think i have allergy to dust everytime i get sneeze in my case i have small red bubble like pores eg like white small tonsil stone but i think i didn't see any white stones but i am having red small small pores in front at small portion but more at left and right side and the area and veins looks inflammated reddish i show this to one ENT previously she prescribe me Cipla Normal Duonase Azelastine And Fluticasone Nasal Spray and paracetamols but this pain goes away for some month and again suddenly it starts plz dr say is it a cancer ? and whenever this happen i feel itchiness in throat and pain while swallowing and fever , headache and little weakness i show this problem to normal clinic dr also but he prescribe basic medication and same occurs after few months

My 11 year old started having sore throat issues off and on this year over the last 4 or 5 months and one tonsil on the right side has stayed larger than the other and doesn't go down, even when her throat isn't soar. I finally was a ble to get an ENT appt next week and hoping its nothing to worry about or possibly have them remove to eliminate constant throat issues. Is having just 1 enlarged tonsil a common issue and what % of it would be cancerous?
And throat issues has mainly been scratchy and alil red, never a fever. Did have strep once, Hasn't had tonsilitus or stones, nothing else swollen like the neck or lymph nodes. Hoping its nothing.
@drzakirhussainent7860 Thanks, we saw the ENT today and they basically said the same and to try gargling with warm salt water every day to help with inflammation. Also having a allergy test done next week. Said it didn't look to be anything to be overly concerned about thankfully

My right tonsill is swollen more than my left..i have trouble breathing sometimes and it feels like something is stuck in my throat..its been like this for 4months now and i have been at 3 doctors to check and one said he saw a yellow ish white patch..he gave me some antibiotics but its halfway done and its still somewhat there aswell as the uneasy tight feeling..i have no bad breath.the doctor told me its not neccesary to remove the tonsills but the paranoid person i am i find it hard to belive...i am out of options of what to do
We have figured out that the tonsills are not the cause it was acid reflux bit since im a smoker and smoking makes it worse im wondering how many months it will take for my stomach sphincter will revert back to normal without smoking at all

Hi Dr. One of my tonsils is swollen, I don’t have any pain or soar throat. I saw an ENT and he doesn’t believe it is cancerous but has recommended me to do a CT scan just to make sure. Is there any cause for concern?

well dr zakir i ham having recurrent one side tonsillitis and this time with fever and ear pain also..and taking antibiotics from three days but still very painful..

sir yesterday night i slept normally when i woke up next morming i had sore throat when i looked myself at the mirror i saw my left tonsil was enlarged compared to the right one i had left earache due to this and bit neck pain but there's no fever no swallowing problem as much what should i do in this case is it dangerous,why it happened is it due to any kinda allergy would it be treated easily with some sort of ways,i used to heard that salt water is good so i used that for gargling thrice.....
