Your mother is lovely, and I enjoyed your conversation very much. Many of my creative efforts are in the culinary realm, and your talk regarding the morphing and changing of a song makes me think of how a recipe can be changed and personalized as it's rendered by one cook or another (are those my chocolate chip cookies, or are they yours?). And I loved what you and your mother said about end of life and how we are all seeking for "the big truth." Right on!
