This was wonderful. I love the brush techniques and picking up 2 different paints to create light and shadow. The paint medium was something new to me. Thank you for this wonderful tutorial. Painting is sooooooo therapeutic!

As someone new to the world of painting this is a wonderful tutorial! My new years resolution last year was at the young age of 50 to learn to draw and paint. I never took art in school because I couldn't even draw a decent stick figure so I was afraid to even try. But now I have decided its way past time I learned to do this. I went out and bought all sorts of art mediums. Pencils of all kinds, water color, acrylic and oil paints. But I thought I would learn to draw a little first, so now I realize you can do anything if you put your mind to it :) I am now ready to take on the paint brush. I have a long way to go but with great videos like this one I know I will have painting, and drawings I will be proud to show off. Thank you for showing me how I can create a beautiful daisy in simple strokes!!

The reactions i've got went from "you did not do this" to "where have you bought this" ,so you can imagine i was very happy with this. beautiful work your teaching makes it so easy for an 80 yr old and I just love yr soft gentle voice never learnt painting but I seam to manage in ample things never looks like yrs thank you
