Live Stream Tuesday 11/12/19 with Edo Zen from Nanrobot via Live Chat -- talking about the Nanrobot D5+ ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p1v5iZsh6FU.html
We aren’t currently recommending the Nanrobot D5+ due to an overwhelming number of owner reports that raise serious safety concerns about this scooter as well as very poor post-purchase support. See video description for a list of comparable scooters from reputable companies.
I saw the wire issue on your IG, definitely unfortunate but seems like something you can prevent if you know about it. Can't wait for the livestream tomorrow/the review when that releases, to find out if you guys had any other issues with this scooter. I've honestly been holding off on buying my first scooter(previously used e-skateboard, decided to switch for safety/maneuverability, and more) until you guys review this one. I was so excited when I saw that you had finally received a Nanrobot. I've been considering between the D5+, the Kaabo Mantis, and the Zero 10x, and would prefer to save a few hundred dollars and get the D5+ if it reviews fairly well from you guys. I kinda feel like I should go with the Mantis/10x because of their widely praised customer support, but I also feel like I could probably fix the majority of issues that may come up myself, and a few hundred dollars, is a few hundred dollars... Anyways, I have a rambling problem. To close, I just want to thank you, Chuck, and the rest of the team for the work you guys do. You are by FAAARRR the best source for researching and deciding on a scooter, and I just really appreciate what you guys do. Edit: Just saw in the description that you already have the written review done! Hell yeah! Going to read it now.
You're right - you can absolutely prevent it. I knew this was happening, but just let it continue to see what would happen. Just a bit of electrical tape on both the cable an the edge of the suspension plate should suffice.
@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide Suspension has been fine for me though I'm only 130lbs so there is less travel for me than for most. This is literally my first scooter so I don't have a basis for comparison.
Not a big fan of unbox vids, this could be combined with an initial review, like with SpeedyFeet UK. I am looking for a good winter riding scooter, might need knubbie studded tires ☺
Hi, new subscriber here... Just wondering, if u r going to assemble your own electric scooter from diff. Parts of diff scooter brand what will it looks like???
Purchase with extreme cautious. Nr is horrible in terms of customer service. Try googling. Quality is crap, there are at least 4 online groups out there created just to expose Nr. They break down almost every time. The unit sent to this youtube channel is most likely thoroughly checked for obvious reasons.
@@mattferg6317 Thanks for that. I (had) fully intended on getting the Zero 10 (not 10X), but I'm open to other options until I'm ready. That's the only reason I was interested in this N5+ review. I just wish someone would do a really good in-depth review of the Zero 10. There's hardly anything out there on the 10, only the 10X.
You're right, the quality control could be better. However, I doubt the unit we got was thoroughly checked because there was some cable routing issues that could have been easily prevented. We've been actively browsing the Nanrobot FB channel to see if the things we noticed have been noticed by others - and got some ideas on how to fix some things.
