When the Lord says he does all things for our good he’s certainly not referring to “comfort” as our ultimate “good.” Rather, our sanctification. Great video.
Piper is one of my favorite pastors, right next to Chuck Missler. Great truth in a time when more people need it. Thank you, Father, for putting this on their heart to post this and for Your truth, not mine, Piper’s, or desiringgod’s.
@@NYCeesFinest no He is not the cause of it, but He allows it because of His love, and even though it’s hard to understand why a loving God would do that, we have to understand that He’s omnipresent, omnipotent, and we are finite. He ultimately knows the suffering will bring us closer to Him which is the best possible situation. It also causes us to trust in Him when all else fails. Trust me though God doesn’t cause evil, He can’t be associated with it. That’s why He allows it. And think about it, if this life is preparing and sanctifying us for eternity, wouldn’t it make more sense to suffer a little bit now so that for the rest of eternity we don’t have to face that. I hope you have a great day man,. It was my on my heart to respond to this man, hopefully it cleared one thing up and if you have more questions please just ask, God bless man.
