One Take: Minotaur 

A good mino player will frustrate the hell out of you and be a DPM god, a bad one gives you free dev strikes. Good game design, high risk, high reward.

Nothing is more terrifying in my mind than a well played Minotaur, because that thing absolutely shreds shit if played correctly

Some of the most fun I've had in this game has been as a radar Minotaur. It's so risky, but nobody expects a radar mino. There's never a dull moment.

The one take series is one of my favorite wows content to consume. Refreshing to see not just the highlights of each ship but the lowlights as well.

Mino is my first tier 10, my most played ship, and I really, really love it! You get amazing firepower with both guns and torps, excellent utility, and a nice, big citadel. I like a ship that get's punished when you misplay, but really rewards good plays!🤗

“I see we only have a 19 point commander…” I look at my entire fleet and don’t have any captain above 16…and that’s only one captain lol.

Played a division with a mate, I was in mino with smoke and he in a Worchester. Absolute chaos and I love it

Plot twist, the ammo on British light cruisers is actually named "SAP", but is still classed as AP. :V

One of the things about Minotaur is it is one of the ships, if not the only ship, that doesn't lose speed when making a turn!

Minotaur might be one of the best tier 10 cruisers in the game. It's an extremely strong cruiser, I would even go as far to say that it's a bit OP. The reason why it doesn't get nerfed is because 90% of the playerbase doesn't know how to play it. If everyone knew how to play it 60% better than they do now, it would have to get nerfed. It can singlehandedly hold back an entire flank, and it's really hard to get dev struck if you know what you're doing. I won't sit here and lie and say it has the best survivability, but the great heal, and the amazing maneuverability is what really shines about the ship. Most people don't realize that you should NEVER reverse in minotaur, as you lose all of that amazing maneuverability as soon as you start reversing. The thing slows down and reverses like a battleship. Nice one take PQ

Finally my baby, ever since I got mine it’s always been my favourite thing to play. The I have mad dpm but instantly die if I’m not careful playstyle is what makes it so fun.

I'm a British CL Main. Neptune is almost as good as Mino. With these 2 ships, you can hold off entire flanks, coming under fire from a Minotaur can be very intimidating, and your HP will melt if you turn broadside. I prefer a smoke build, playing extremely aggressive, using my hydro as a mini, long duration radar to get in close and nuke DDs.

If you know how to play it, radar+rpf mino can get you 2.5k xp games relatively easily, but its incredibly risky since you dont have the get out of jail free card* smoke is *not always since radars exist

Love your vids, but SAP is what makes all the Italians work. Austin is powerful, but has a high skill level because of short range guns. I'm glad it's a part of the game.

I was just wondering, how do I get the aiming mod with a star on it, the one I have is just the standard one and there’s no where to be seen in the armoury shop anyone knows ? My favourite ship for ranked tier 10 as thats when I have the most fun!

Minotaur without both module and 4 point Commander skill is having really... meh AA. Once you get those two together, you can see planes melt down. I run that build alongside with Radar.

If it's an island map, you'd wish you had radar and if it's an open map, you wish for smoke. :P I know the feeling.

Russian Carriers are "supposed" to have low Plane Hp, but their Planes get a permanent 30 % Damage reduction since its only 1 Attack run. And thei can de-toggle Fighters instantly by dropping their Payload. pErFeCtLy bAlAnCeD cOmRaDe

I think you didnt shoot down the planes so fast cause minotaurs long range AA isnt that strong. The strong Mino AA is midrange and that is from 4km. Nice vid PQ

People would do more spotting if it would be rewarding and being reflected in the game stats after a win or loose. Like Spotting and doing Damage get the same value

Only fun cruiser imo. Others are just sit in a spot or kite number farmers and citadel farmers.

Can you do other tier than 10?

Radar Mino is the beast. 9,1 concealment with 10 km 50s+ radar (with coal module, definitely worth it btw) is a super DD fighter and you are the one that definitely control who spots who. Smoke is better with farming dmg openwater, but radar is more game-impactfull and kind-of counterbully for enemy DDs. You get spotted without shooting? Press radar and in 5s you have all your guns pointed on a target that has nowhere to go to instantly hide :D

The SAP on italian ships it's fine, but on Austin is broken, he should have normal AP and HE, just like all the other American cruisers

Actually I think it would be great if youd play CVs as well for better perspective. The T8 Russian premium is really busted and in general the Russian CVs seem crazy strong. But id like to see you playing Midway for example or Haku. A lot has changed since the rework state and Id say they are balanced pretty well. You have to play smart to make them work, a little more than you'd expect I would dare to say :D

Any other Mino players finger start twitching when he started shooting?

im new to this game, why this battleship has a really fast reload (like about seconds) while usually BB that i play (tier 4/5) has about 30 seconds to reload

Tbh the Russian cv's have some kind of a gimmick is just makes them take a bit less damage compared to other cv's

My cruiser WR is 53%, but with Salem it's only 45% :( I dont get it.

dumped my AA skill for RPF. Found RPF a lot more useful (after been a skeptic)

RU planes are not what they said they were, they are tough to shoot down.

New PA cruiser line going to play like really big destroyers, range is too short for much else. Radar, especially Soviet radar is a very hard counter to a smoke ship with 13km firing range.

I have the feeling that you've not played many games in a CV, I get it, CV bad and ppl who play CV are bad, but you need to play it to understand it's mechanics. I say this because I notice you complain, very subtly about CV supposed overpowerness. I've played a lot of CV games and as a result I hardly ever get into a situation where I get wrecked by them. Playing CV, normal damage score is around 100k, sure there are exception for some CV's like Nakhimov or Super CVs, but think about it, how many times do you see CVs in top 3? In your particular game, around 16:00 I was a bit surprised that chkalov even hit 1 torps since you were bow in, in a very nimble ship and chkalov has very long arming distance of his torps, but you did shoot five planes at least, without showing broadside, also Minotaur only has really strong AA at medium range. The only thing I can agree is a bit OP about CVs is the spotting, but you have to remember your team also has CV spotting and I hear that CV spotting mechaning is scheduled for a rework in near future. When you think about it, is it any more annoying having planes over you dropping bombs than a smoked Minotaur hammering you from a safe distance? At least you can shoot down the planes. I definitely recommend you play more high tier CV games, you may find out CVs are not that OP and even learn to counter them. I say all this with the greatest respect :)

they abuse ingame buffs to CVs when they are first attacking and then last flight. I think its 35% reduction to flak damage

Such a great game before the CV rework, SAP, "submarines" and Russian ships.

To be honest pomme de terre..im getting tired of all the channels only playing tierX. How about some V~VII gameplay redux etc...remember, there a still a lot of players moving thru the ladders.
