Storytelling ASMR is sooooo underrated. Different sounds are nice for tingles, but few things are more relaxing than an interesting story told by a calm friendly voice. It's also so effective for falling asleep.
Hey! Ive fractured vertebrae as well in a motorcycle accident! I feel for you. I wish you the best recovery and hope you have 0 lasting effects! Don't let them fuse you, please. When you get older it does nothing but get worse and the fusions continue. It's painful and hurts to do anything but, it gets better. Just be patient as it takes years unlike other bones. Zero gravity chairs and lifting recliners are miracles. After your vertebrae heal, vertical hanging (like a teeter hangup) make life SOOO much less painful.
Welcome to my world, I have a compressed vertebrae waiting to see a specialist. Already 1yr waited & my specialist said Iam sending you to a different Dr. Who has a yr waiting list. So wll be close to 3yrs to see specialist, and then another 6mths to yr for 2nd back surgery. L5s1 fused. Now will be fusing next 1 or 2. So good luck.

My age is 74. I am still fascinated by the Stories of the Arabian nights since my school days. I still love fantasy tales and view movies of the past. The new generation should be encouraged towards these Stories.

My Lebanese Aunt named her cat Scheherazade and everyone called her Shazza. I love the 1001 Nights stories and recently bought a new beautifully illustrated and annotated edition by Prof Paulo Horta and translated by Yasmine Seale

When I was a kid, and I heard about these 1001 nights of stories, I kept looking for the books of them in the library, only to be disappointed that the books didn't actually contain 1001 stories 😂

This is my favorite sleep ASMR ❤️ I was so obsessed with Middle Eastern cultures growing up. If you plan on doing some more stories similar to Arabian Nights, you can do some of Wilhelm Hauff’s like The Caravan, Inn and Palace. Fascinating and also “story within the story”.

I absolutely LOVE your videos, I used to watch history documentaries at bedtime but had the problem of them being too bright or loud, making it hard to stay asleep. “ One thousand and one night” and “ The Arabian nights” are two different collections. The first is a super old and timeless collection which definitely has an Iranian origin. But “The Arabian nights” happens in “Abbasid”age and to be more exact, “Harun al-Rashid” There is no “Persian night ” collection. As “Abbasid”s and “Harun al-Rashid” were very interested and influenced by Iranian culture at the time, “The Arabian nights” is very affected by Iranian literature and it had made distinguishing very hard and delicate. But we should not be mistaken by this names. “One thousand and one night” has absolutely a Persian origin.
