I love that Frazier turned giggly and fidgety when asked for Votto stories. It’s the same reaction that some other players have when Votto’s name comes up. We’ve heard many stories about him, but there have to be a ton of hilarious x-rated stories we’ll never get to hear!

I think we're all gonna be surprised to find out how much spider tack was benefiting pitchers this week and the remaining of the season. Based on the reactions I've seen from guys like Cole and Bauer, I think they know they may be getting exposed. Not saying those guys aren't great pitchers, but there is no doubt that what they were using was putting them in a unfair advantage. This is gonna be an intriguing week of baseball

Steven is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT about Barry Bonds. Best baseball player of all time before steroids, saw McGwire and Sosa getting all the love with roids, and said "oh yeah? Watch this shit" and became the greatest homerun hitter of all time. Total badass. A baseball Hall of Fame without Bonds invalidates the whole thing.

On Bonds, I agree with Rose. Bonds was a clear inner circle guy without roids, but not the absolute greatest of all time. There are plenty of guys that had more impressive careers than pre-roids Bonds (no one else that met those 2 specific stat marks although someone like Trout or Acuna probably could do it if stealing wasn't so deemphasized in the modern game). But Bonds was the clear best player of a generation without a doubt and then took roids to become the best power hitter of all time. I still look at that differently than what someone like ARod, Manny or Clemens did - there effect of PEDs seemed more about elongating their prime and keeping them healthy whereas Bonds added an entire dimension to his game that he did not naturally posses. He was a 20-40 homer guy who turned into a 50-70 homer guy - that was a clear expansion well beyond his natural talents (ARod, Clemens, and Manny didn't really add anything to their power game, they just stayed healthy more consistently and played like their prime self longer).

Chris sounds like he didnt see Bonds play with that skepticism, especially considering that the alternatives he would likely propose were guys he saw when he was a kid.
