Something that I’ve always admired about Pete is how he is able to incorporate something he is passionate about, whether it is magic or coffee, and still keep an awesome flow to his videos!
Hey everyone, I just started a RU-vid Channel about filmmaking/cinematography etc..., can you guys check it out and let me know what you think, I would be aprecciated
Theres a lot of great channels on color grading, one of my favorites is Aram K. He´s using Davinci Resolve, but really that's the one you want to learn :)
WOW!! How much time I will save now. I used to spend a lot of time trying to do this manually. This is gold. You are amazing bro. Such a genuine guy. Brillianto!!!! Thank Yoouuuuuuuuuuuuuu
I am baffled that ANYONE would give this a thumbs down! I've been remixing my tracks for a decade (extremely well, if I do say so myself), but this tip is a HUUUUUUGE time saver! Thanks, Peter Mac for your continued excellence!
You are a hero. This blew my mind and honestly I don’t know why I always thought the old way was as good as it got. The worst part is I was already pushing them through auction sometimes to make adjustments.... so close to greatness and I just needed a push.
Thanks Peter! I have to add music to help drown out the neighbors dogs barking and trash truck always seems to come when I'm out side at the smoker! I was doing exactly what you were talking about in the beginning cause I like the music to fade out naturally before a bumper or cut. This IS going to be such a time saver! Thank you so very much :)
the reason most people (not all) will think of the 2 of hearts is because there are a few of them stacked together in the deck and so when he flips through them at the speed that he did you don't notice this but the 2 of hearts is there for 'longer' and so thats the card you pick because it's the only one you 'saw'.
The Skodilac no if you pause you can see he showed other ones too, but there were multiple 2 of hearts in a row, so thats the only one you really grasp since you see that the longest, and thats what makes you choose that card.
If you slow the playback of the video you can see why you picked the 2. It was the card that showed the longest amount of time so you could register that in your mind. Slowing the video down gives your brain more chance to choose others. It's very clever how he did it!
DUDE! Not only are you the coolest person on YT, but this video has single-handedly been the most mind-blowing piece of video editing education in my journey to expand from photography to videography.. thank you!!!
**Edited** OMG! 😮💥💀 You blew my face off again!! Bruv, seriously, these tips are 🔥🔥🔥 Original comment: No way this is gunna be as good as that Premiere Pro Marker Tip(shouted ya out on Twitter my man!)
I am so glad I found ur channel. Not only am I learning a lot, but u inspire me, make me happy & make my spirit smile 😊. I'm sorry, I just had to get that out, its just the truth 😄!
As a music producer I can tell you that this is not seemless whatsoever. You can hear the cuts. If your song is complex it won't work but for simple songs with not much going on it's a good time saver. You can also play with settings like how many beats the loop is set at.
Peter continually educates himself in the editing realm, as should we all. Saw him at Adobe MAX picking up some tips. The key to becoming a great editor, I found, is to take on the same stance. Education!
your the only person in the world which I'd like to listen for all the time your speaking, I don't want to lose any of what you are saying, crazy man!!
Peter! Of ALL the tips you've shared, THIS one will help my workflow out probably the most! Music has always been passenger numero uno on my struggle bus. Thanks dude!
256ssd, 8gb RAM, Iris 6100 graphic card, 2,9ghz MacBook Pro and someone said me that Adobe Premiere goes to slow for my PC, they suggest me to use FCPX. What do you guys think?
Brilliant!! That just bowled me over... as a former Audio Final Mixer it blows my mind what is now possible since the days of tape and synchronisers! Love your stuff!
This is really mind blown.. thanks Pete. I have been watching you when you hit 100k subscribers.. and since then I have been studying, buying and saving every money I could get for future eqipment.. thanks man..you and Matti are inspirational :D ..
Honestly you've improved my workflow with both video and photography more than anyone else I've found on the internet. AND I didn't have to pay a cent?!?!?!?!?! I love you man, Keep up the killer work! PS. I did buy both your lightroom presets and your premiere LUTS. (gotta show that SUPPORT)
This is really mind-blowing. You have No idea how much time I've lost searching for the right track. Now I can use any track I want. Really GREAT TIP! Thank you and greetings from Romania!
Mind = Blown. I love all these little tricks that Adobe has available but it's hard to learn them all on your own. Thanks for sharing Peter! (Also, I saw 2 of Spades, close enough?)
You've updated but you don't see the Remix feature? Head to the Audition forum: forums.adobe.com/community/audition/content I'll see if I can get you some help.
This is literally my 3rd time coming back to this video to use it for a recent project, Thank you so much Pete for all of the awesome content and helpful tutorials!!
My two questions for your next Q&A Peter: 1) What the heck do you do that your kitchen is so clean? 2) Since you'r Canadian, are you fluent in French? Do you speak French on a daily basis? Thanks!
Are you able to still do this with the updated Audition CC? It's not working for me anymore. Pulling through all of my files instead of just the audio track.
Veggie Campus i did it today, exactly, step by step like he did. It worked for me. Where exavtly ia the problem? Tell me the exact time in this video, at which it doea not work foe you. So I can figure out what could cause your problem :)
Hey Matcher! It wasn't mixing the track or exporting back into PP. Then I read your post and thought I should watch each step very carefully again and I figured it out. Thank you and sorry to waste your time!
Another awesome video making tip...and just in time! I have a presenational video for a banquet I am making for my daughter's swim team next week. Keep 'em coming Pete!
That's a great little trick! I'm just starting out and I was doing the cut/constant power thing. Cheers Peter! If anyone wants to check out my project called "The Story Behind The Shot" where I showcase my photographs through BTS videos come and let me know what you think! I'd love your feedback so I can work on it and get better! Have a wonderful day everyone! See ya
Peter your smiling face just saved my video project! I've said it before but THANK YOU SOOOOOOOOO MUCH!!!! Have another coffee today because you my friend have earned it!
just started watching your channel a few days ago and im hooked, such a wealth of knowledge and inspiration to be a better video producer. Im in my second year on university now doing a film degree and my tutors are sorta in the past about alot of things so its hard to pick up new things
What da... I mean this whole time I have been doing all the annoying manual stuff. I want that wasted time back. You've blown my mind AGAIN. Love your videos. 🤦🏾♂️
You gotta bring these back man. Serious nostalgia watching this while I was a nervous wreck trying to edit video for the first time at my new job, lmao!
