Just another reminder of why Nathan has become the greatest guy on OTH, it's amazing how positively he's changed. Him and Brooke are both great, I wish more friendship scenes were shown between them
soheil adam fr you’re so right. they all made mistakes and even brooke (who is my fav) wasn’t always there for everyone but you know for the most part she was💔
@@soheiladam7510 Adult Brooke was there for everyone. High school developed into an awesome adult. There are other characters never grew up. Nathan and Brooke did!
I think her scenes with Haley and Nathan indicate that they knew something like that had happened (Nathan coming by to check on her, Haley giving her the number of a psychiatrist). To be honest, the person who should've noticed was her supposed best friend, Peyton, but per usual, she was too caught up in Lucas-world to notice Brooke.
lexi219 i relate to peyton alot and I never had trouble understanding her feelings and why she did what she did. and their friendship reminds me of my bestfriend and I. which means whenever either of us are going through something we wanna be strong and face it ourselves but know that the other one is always there. and that's what brooke wanted. she didn't want to seem weak and peyton knew that she will come to her and knew never to push someone to open up. and this was also Q's death which was extremely hard on lucas and she had to be there for him. besides although I love Nathan he only thought of brooke cause his mom brought it up.
I thought they'd figured it out too tbh. I mean, when Brooke had that rant back at the Scott house and then went outside and Haley followed her, she gave her the umber for the Psychiatrist like you said, but also the look on Nathan's face was one of worry and kinda like he realised something had happened, because I don't believe no one would figure it out after her going on about the rates of attacks and all that, and the way he watched her leave indicated that he knew there was something more going on. I really thought that in this scene he was gonna say something like "Now, do you want to tell me how you really got all those bruises?"
Literally there’s a handprint on her arm and she has 2 black eyes and a busted lip. Even if they were stupid and thought she got black eyes from falling down where is the handprint coming from?
@@stephaniepinto9390I hated that Peyton was laughing at her when she said she fell down the stairs. As if you believe that story. I have fallen down the stairs before, a few bruises on the knees, but nothing on the face.
I can not understand how NOBODY picked up on her bruises when clearly there is a HANDPRINT on her damn arm. I was so disgusted that Lucas, Skillz and Nathan didn't snap about this. OR PEYTON. Who usually fought for Brooke.
It's one of the most beautiful scene of the show. What Nathan said... I wish those two had had more scenes together. Because he is right. They came from the same place, they both evolved to end up such beautiful human beings. I don't even wish they'd be together. I just wish Nathan had been to Brooke what Lucas was for Haley. I think it would have been great to see them interact more.
i wish they had more scenes together, i just loved there friendship, and its exactly for the reason Nathan said here, they're really similar, and they have similar backgrounds and where very lonely and neglected as children making them not the best they could be at the start... and because of that they had this understanding that no one else in the group could of really had, because it consist of understanding this part inside them no one can really understand but each other because there the only ones who have been through it...idk, I feel like every tv show i watch, these kind of of friendships always get to me the most because its like two people that grow up together (i don't mean litterly grow up together, just grow into the people are are meant to be, together), always having each others backs because there they only one who knows how hard it is.(however these kinds of relationships are hard to find in shows that stay strictly platonic) it just would have made for a really good friendship and its their loss for not exploring it more, because by they end of the series they could have been the best of friends kind of like Lucas and Haley were, and it would have been really cute to see, i even dare say, epic lol! Considering the scenes they did have together though, you can tell they are really good friends, i just wish we got to see more of it (I also like to think Brooke did go and talk to Nate eventually, we just didn't see it ;) )
Everyone loves his "I'll be kind of pissed off" line but my favorite is "it doesn't surprise me that you're thinking of other people" that is a huge compliment and really tells us how he sees Brooke.
Brooke's character throughout One Tree Hill is this strong, hard-headed, face on kind of girl. Everytime she falls she manages to pick herself up. This ordeal with her mother taught her alot. It also made us see a different side to her character... Underneath all the strength there lies a soul that is so hurt and in pain. Everything that she ever loved in life was taken away from her. This is a truly epic scene. You can see the similarity between Nathan and Brooke's characters, both were lost...
I think they did know something, you could tell in other scenes they did not fully believe her. But it’s not something you can come out and say “you’re lying”. It’s something only Brooke can admit. The only thing they can do is support her, and when she’s ready to tell them, they’ll be there for her.
love these two. this was a perfect scene. they dont have many scenes but when they do they make an impact. great chemistry. these two are the best characters on oth. they always have great storylines.
i'm so sad that this whle thing with brooke was forgotten. her mentioning it a couple of times later, and the episode when she told peytong or saved sam doesn't really count. because it was mostly focused on lucas or nathan or peyton. i think mark passed up an amazing opportunity to really go somewhere with this story. and it makes me sad that he assumes we all know she told the rest of them or they figured it out. I would have loved to see her tell nathan and haley. that would've been the best
Nathan had the best and i mean best character development ever. He went from being a complete asshole to being the sweeest guy ever. His parents werent the best parents, he did some pretty fucked up shit in his past. He changed.
This is one of my favorite scenes from the whole series! I miss One tree hill because of scenes like these. This one and Haley talking to Julian after leaving his baby in the car! It's the scenes that always remind us to look out for each other and be there for our friends without judgement! 💕❤️
brooke and nathan are the best friends they're not afraid to make each other angry just because they feel like it but at the end of the day they would do anything for each other and that makes them amazing too bad they weren't siblings nathan would make a brilliant brother for brooke
i know right!!! that was the first time he probably saw that much and the fact that he didn't makes me sad. and i totally agree. that would have made for an amazing story line, with nathan figuring it out and brooke denying it or something.
The stupid thing is you can see finger marks on her arms like someone has grabbed her so the fact that they believed her about falling was BS I wish we had a scene where everyone found out what really happened
WOW!! I think i watched this scene like 10+ times!!! Its just to adorable.. it was sad tho!! (the whole episode) Brooke/Sophia + Nathan/James should definantly have more scenes together!!!! Especially love it when he said "I be kinda piss off if u dont come talk to me about it..":o)..
@Vaimaru I think at this point, everyone (except clueless Peyton) had put together that Brooke was lying about falling down the stairs, but they wanted to wait and be comfortable enough for her to open up. I think that's why Nathan really showed up at the door - to show that they were there for her when she was ready.
A S H L E E actually no one really noticed. infact Nathan only came to brooke cause deb spoke to him about her, cause she knew Brook was attacked. and haley only mentioned the therapist because of the depressing monologue brooke gave which hit them like a punch in the stomach.and when peyton first saw brooke she brought it up several times but Brooke kept shutting her down. and then her fiance lost a dear friend so she had to be there for him. she didn't push it with Brook cause she knew Brook would open up when she is ready.
Brathan! God I love them! Nathan is such an amazing friend its so nice to see him talking to her again. They both did wonderful acting! Its funny in episode, when Brathan have scenes together, they are always my favorite scenes
Luv this scene When Brooke and Nathan talk it's always for great moment and I luv this. It's great to see that Nathan understand Brooke's situation while characters.
omg this is the cutest scene. im soo glad they finally touched on the fact tht Brooke and Nathan are two and the same. They are alot alike & like. they were both the spoiled rich kids, who were changed by pple they fell in love with to become great pple. nate said they practically grew up 2gether nd hung with the same cliques nd were frineds for a while. They relate 2 each other. Nates got Dan as the crazy parent nd Brooke's got her mom. Ths was a mega cute scene & i wnt more Brathan nd Baily :D
I think Nathan could tell that Brooke didn't fall down the stairs, and something else happened to her. But everybody should've seen that someone attacked her, look her arm it totally has marks of someone who grabbed her... :(
um i actually think peaton knows when brooke wnts to be left alone,ad that brooke does not want others to worry, and because she exactly knows this shes her best freind
@Twilighter1495 Seriously!!!! Everyone... especially Haley and Nathan.... would have been so there for her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just wish that Mark didn't make it all about Peyton and Lucas again. It would have been amazing if she sat them down and was like "ayight guys here's the deal...." This scene makes me wanna cry
@purerachagan I agree with you here. i thought Peyton would have definately know something was up as they have been best friends since they were 8. and i thought the otheres would not have believed her as the marks on her arm as you pointed out and the one on her neck.
Aw i love this scene so much. I wouldn't really expect this out of Nathan...maybe Lucas or Peyton, cuz they're closest to her, but it's even cuter than it was Nate. i REALLY wish they had more scenes together like this in the show...there's just not enough Brathan! lol and does anyone know if they're still dating? i know they were, im just not sure if they still are....aw i hope they are at least...
i think they all hv an idea tht brooke didn't just fall down the stairs but they can't really know til brooke tells them everyone needs to just relax with these comments on peyton an all them r being not good friends
i agree. i love nathan and haley...but brooke and nathan are so great together. i want more scenes with themm. brooke needs to reach out to nathan haha!
@Twilighter1495 A. Men. Did you know Brooke was just going to be a role that was there for comedic relief, and would only be in a few episodes. Kind of like Tom? But then after she was in a couple she became the audience favorite so they realized that the smart thing to do would be to keep her. GO SOPHIA!!! haha
I wish they'd had more scenes together, especially with what he'd said about how similar they/their upbringings were. They only got like...2 friendship scenes throughout the whole series.
i love how nathans character seems to have matured so much season 2 he was such a idiot i reely hated him and as time went on and he had jamie he seemed to reeli grow up for the better im currently watching season 3 in the uk (dan has just got keith arrested for the dealership fire so right at the start) but i no most of the major storylines in the other serie's aprt from 7 coz havent watched that yet it is a good programme
I think Brooke's almost begging for someone to notice but she just doesn't want to ask for help, i think that's why I loved the Brathan scene, I almost felt a sigh of relief that someone does care
Because if she told them she couldn't hide from what happened and she would have to really face. Right now she is dealing with it, but only the surface. If she told her family (who her friends in Tree Hill are) they respond and rally around her in such a way she really with the pain of everything. She knew that ... so she kept it to herself, making it eaiser for her to go numb.
@Twilighter1495 That's because unfortunately from the get go he was like I've created a world where Peyton and Lucas were going to be together in the end. So of course he made sure those two were right
just like everyone else said they're adorable to be dating. i just hope james doesn't pull a chad michael murray on her. sophia can't go through that again!!!! and nathan and brooke are soooo cute and i love these two. it's heartbreaking that he's the only one who told her if she needed someone to talk to he's there. you would think peyton would at least see past her lies.
I know everyone is hating on Peyton for not figuring it out and I LOVE Peyton and I was expecting her to figure it out but don't call her a bad friend if I recall Brooke made fun of Peyton dead mom's and didn't give two craps that some stalker phyco was trying to kill Peyton... until she was there herself. So they've both equally dropped the ball ok friendship but they love each other.. and come on Peyton is ALWAYS depressed UNTIL like season 6 she got like one season of happiness.
There needs to be more brathan moments in OTH. it feels like they have stopped them. they dont interact that much, you get the odd conversation. i noticed this from S5 onwards. I
@Twilighter1495 Seriously!!! When I saw the preview for the episode when she told Peyton and it showed her turning around and saying "I have to tell you something" I was so excited I had dreams about it!!!! And then he ruined it. But if I was Sophia I would be extremely pissed off because it was a perfect opporutinity for her to show off her acting skills. Mark always f***s her over. Like in the shooting episode he took out her powerful monologue
