Megatron is the best example of having the best of intentions, but these intentions were warped either by Megatron's anger at what he believed was Orion's betrayal, his lust for power or maybe even the corruption of dark energon Megatron saw how corrupt and elitist the rulers of Cybertron were and he genuinely wanted change he wanted things to be better for the common Cybertronian but as it's been shown Megatron's noble ideals became as corrupt and as twisted as he became.

Megatron got corrupt after many millenniums of war, that's true,but he was actually fighting for himself and for his people, for their freedom, which is the right of all sentient beings as Optimus likes to say. Before the war, if a cybertronian was born in a small weak body he'd get sent to the middle class, with the ability of becoming an elite, however, if a cybertronian was born as a heavy brute, he'd get send to the mines with just a serial number and no name to work non-stop. Megatron was born a slave as well, he chose to become a gladiator not because he wanted to kill his own, but because it was his only opportunity to speak about the corruption to the masses(also the reason someone like Starscream got on the decepticon side is because all flyers were sent to the military, which isn't as bad as nameless slave, but still no freedom). Remember kids, don't do drugs 😂, also when bumblebee said he won't rob anyone else for their voice. In the books, Megatron before he became what he is now, was a slave and no one cared about him until he started fighting in the pits. When he went upon the primes, they didn't like him the moment he stepped in and quickly quieted him for Optimus speech. So it's kinda hypothetical for bumblebee to say that, since it was the higher ups who silenced Megatron and the other slaves, until they rosed up and started the war.

Honestly I think Starscream wanted him to do that he just did not want him to survive. Starscream has a history of giving out empty platitudes and Hollow warnings

The deceptions were treated as slaves and some of them were forced to fight to the death in a gladiator pit somewhere on icon. The primes never liked megatron. Rached explaining the story of optimus and megatron the story he was saying it like megatron was the vilan at the start

great video! you make great points and your wording of things is great. i agree with you in everything except i think you didn't mention that megatron was actually a slave put into being a gladiator. but that just mostly helps your points more than it puts them down.
