One Villainous Scene - "Nothing But My Nora" 

As someone who watched The Animated Series, there's one quote of his that always sticks out to me: "Think of it, Batman. To never again walk on the beach during a summer's day, with the hot wind in your face, and a warm hand to hold. Oh, yes. I'd kill for that."

Here’s what I love about their relationship: unless they’re fighting, Batman always calls Freeze Victor.

Freeze saying "Bring me Ferris Boyle." has always lived rent-free in my head

Mr. Freeze is not an Anti-Hero, he is an Anti-Villain.

Aaaaand... People still think that Arkham Origins is a bad game

Boyle, pronounced like boil being hunted by a ice villain, and Mr Freeze and the Penguin working together cracks me up Also, Ferris Boyle's day off

my favourite villanious moment in the arkham series was the introduction with deathstroke in origins. The bass that plays while batman and deathstroke stare eachother out gives me so many memories and still gives me chills every time i play it. One thing that does make it lose some of its greatness is the knowing of how badly his character is in knight (imo!).

This is why I love Batman‘s villains. In someway, shape, or form their stories reflect what Batman could’ve been. Poison Ivy has done horrific things for what she believes is right, like how Batman‘s done some pretty messed up things in the name of justice. Victor Zsasz was a rich kid who had his parents murdered in front of him at a young age, which led him to a life of murder. Penguin, much like Bruce Wayne, was a descendent of a rich family, but Penguin is a greedy monster who will do anything if it pays well. And much like Batman, Joker just had one bad day that robbed him of a normal life, but unlike the dark knight the Joker gave into insanity. In someway shape or form Batman can relate to the struggles of the villains and Mr. Freeze is no exception. Much like Batman Mr. freeze had his family ripped away from him, even if the type of family being ripped away is different The pain can be felt all the same. Because of their love for their family, both of Batman & Mr. Freeze are filled with a lust for vengeance. But unlike Victor, Bruce keeps himself in check. He won’t hurt innocent people in the pursuit of his mission but Victor Fries will. Victor doesn’t necessarily want to hurt innocent people, but as he put it here nothing matters except for his beloved Nora.

Threats are meaningless to a man who has lost everything.

“Take a seat. Humanitarian.”

Before the Animated Series, Mr. Freeze was just a bad guy with an ice gun. His origin and character were completely rewritten for his animated appearance and created one of the most impactful, tragic and sympathetic villains in history.

Batman: Nora wouldn’t want you to do this. Freeze: True, but I’d rather hear her say that to me.

Channel is a hidden gem

One of my favourite villainous scenes is in the show Gotham, where it’s revealed Jerome killed his mother. His acting is just phenomenal, truly chilling and the dialogue is perfect

Just commenting to point out the fact that Freeze's biggest enemy is Boyle/boil

Mr. Freeze is one of my Favorite Villains in the Batman Franchise and I do hope that we'll see him in the Movies cause he's long overdue for a Proper interpretation.

it is a surprise to hear that the first time you heard of Mr. Freeze's backstory was through the Arkham games. besides Two-face and maybe Joker, Mr. Freeze has one of the most famous backstories since its recreation. The Arkham games did Freeze justice in his character, his motivations, and best of all, makes him more than a villain, they made him seem human. He became a monster not for greed, or power but because of his wife and what happened to her. It showed what one man is willing to do for their loved ones and anyone can believe and relate to that to some degree. that anyone could and would do the same. Freeze is another tragic character in the Batman Rouges and that is why he is so good.

Honestly one of the saddest villains Batman has faced, he's up there with Scarecrow and Riddler as my favorites. I sympathies with this sad ol' snowman :(

Boyle is a man who is driven yet blinded by greed. Freeze is a man who is driven yet blinded by love and desperation.

There’s two lines Batman says near the end and at the end of the game that makes Mr. Freeze one of my top 3 favourite Batman villains: “All this violence, he’s just trying to save his dying wife” “I’m sorry Victor, I can’t give you peace but I can give you justice” Victor didn’t choose this life, the same case for most of Batman’s rouges (except for example Scarecrow, Professor Pyg, Zsasz, Black Mask, Blackfire, Hush). He was trying to save a life and got condemned for it.

The sad story of freeze is that he just wanted to heal his wife so that way they could live together

This was the first arkham game I got in like 2013 or 14 but I had it on wii u so I never got to play through this dlc myself. Last year or so I got a 360 disc to play on Xbox one and got this dlc to play and I have to say: it is magnificently done. So many great moments throughout. Batman saying "I'll see this one wheeled into blackgate on a gurney" before saying he'll still need it "but not for victor" before the end of the night is legendary. And the fact that they took a fantastic Batman story from the animated series, made it their own in a fantastic re-envisioning of the episode with an angrier freeze, angrier boyle, and angrier batman while also tying in the main story...it all just makes this the best arkham DLC for my money.

You can actually find Freeze's prison cell in Arkham Asylum.

Here’s another villainous scene but it’s from Spider-Man PS4. When Spider-Man tries to convince Mr. Negative to stop his rampage and he stops for a minute with a reflective look but then attacks Spider-Man anyway just because of how consumed by rage and revenge against Osborn he is.

What makes it more sad is that in Arkham knight Nora told freeze her true wishes, Nora did want Victor to stop, she wanted to live with what little time she had with him, she wanted Victor to live a good life

No one ever talks about the dlc for these games and I do not understand why.

anti-heroes and more specifically mr.freeze will always have a special place in my heart

the DLC is essential the Batman TAS episode heart of ice which won an Emmy, if you haven't seen it I'd recommend giving it a watch.

I'm one of those who genuinely loved Arkham Origins. The DLC is one of the reasons why.

The first time i descover the character of mister freeze was in the movie batman return he was Arnold Schwarzenegger and i love the story of mister freeze une of my favorite villain anti heroes 🙂

freeze is my favorite villain

Though I do agree with you, I still like the Ridder from Arkham Knight more. He is such quoteable guy and really funny. Plus, the game does an excellent job at smoothly changing from being a cocky prick, to him being completely consumed with anger over the fact that Batman keeps winning without it feeling like he's turning into a different character. And eventhough I do like the boss fight, I do agree that it would have made more sence if it was a predator boss like Mr Freeze.

My favorite villain in the First three games are asylum joker , city penguin ,and origins bane. And my least favorite villain for all games is asylum riddler , city riddler , origins enigma ,and knight riddler. Riddle me this what walks on 4 legs then 2 legs then 3.

Good story too bad the DLC is practically unplayable lol, seriously this needed to be updated like they did with the main story but it doesn’t seem to of got it so it makes it more of a pain to play that’s the only downside.
