My Headcannon for there not being that many random deaths all around would be because the criminals were way more organized before People like Joker showed up, notice how in the Gothams Merchant Bank and Royal Hotel there are dozens of dead Bodies around. It can also be because different villains still didn’t have their rivalries like Two Face and Penguin which would lead to Payback and Recklessness in order to achieve said payback.

The Bank Manager’s death has to be one of the saddest and disturbing deaths in the Arkham series She was just doing her job and probably was going to go home to her husband or boyfriend or family for Christmas Eve and then The Joker murders her for no reason at all, just for a laugh. She didn’t deserve to die like that.

I love the accurate continuity of showing part of Calendar Man’s Christmas monologue, and the audio tapes giving us more with Judge Harkness. I do feel having him escape because of pure luck of the Joker causing a riot does make Day a little less intimidating, as I always assumed he was escaped on his own.

Those are Eurocopter HB350 L1s. Information on this particular variant is sparse, but they're generally crewed by 1. Some of them can hold up to 6 passengers, so if we're to assume SWAT intended on rappelling down and containing the rooftop after softening it with minigun fire there could potentially be quite a few added to the kill count there. You can briefly see one with a passenger at the tail end of that shot, so I think that was the intention. Just to rationalize a canonical explanation: Detective Mode probably only registers brain-stem death, as that is the precondition for being diagnosed clinically dead. That would mean resuscitated victims shouldn’t be counted, though, because no one can be brought back to consciousness after the brain stem dies with current technology. However, DM registers the heart as beating for the “calm” victims (I think that the classification of emotion only depends on the range of the subjects’ hearts’ beats per minute), so my hypothesis is invalid if you assume Detective Mode registers a subject as deceased when it detects zero bpm.

Hey so just wanted to let you know, most police helicopters have a pilot, co pilot, and two gunners. Some don't require a co pilot but I'd assume every helicopter has at least 3.

Tip for if you eventually do I am the Night mode: if you get an unexpected death that takes you off guard, turn off your console as fast as possible, and if you do, your death won't save. This is mostly for one shot death instances or any glitches you might experience, but also remember that the restart button is your friend!
