This allows you to have range control of the fight if you are able to land the scram. (Big if) This allows you to choose which ammo to start with to give you an edge, dictate the range throughout the engagement, some control of the transversal speeds and least get an opportunity to disengage if you wish. Polarized weapons have better tracking then t2 but nullifys your resistances so I try to mitigate some damage by sig tanking so they either miss shots or get lower quality hits. Or exactly you have the option to scram kite. With the tracking bonus and say run antimatter while they have void the increased transversal speed should hurt your opponent more than you. (These are all benefits of afterburners not just polarized fits) Pvp is all about having options and deciding then executing the best one for the situation.
Yeah ENI has a somewhat broken 15% per level reduction in plate mass penalty. So you gain 5k EHP from the plate, lose 1600 EHP of hull from the nano. Then thanks to that 75% reduction to the mass penalty the plate has a negligible effect on your agility/speed but the nano gets you from 2350m/s to 2573m/s which is actually quite fast almost 3700m/s hot, and with drugs youre up over 4k heated. They are nasty haha
Thank you! Mostly solo these days alot of my corp is afk sadly. Otherwise mainly like 2 or 3 guys + alts... about 2 years ago when I still lived in null I would hunt for your usual 10 man blob roams lol or for fleet fights I preferred to fly a hecate and pick off stragglers and tackle and scout
Thanks dude! Yeah i normally run faction uranium, optimal range is like 28k and you can still hit stuff out to like 40 or 50km with decent dps/alpha. So by the time they get into optimal hopefully they took a few hits and start to panic/disengage or already died lol .
