We met in high school in Kingston Ontario and we’ve been together for ~10 years and now engaged! Keith comes from a bilingual military family and Devon from a family of teachers. Hi Keith and Dev, thanks for sharing this memorable trip with Dev's Grandparents. They have a lot of stamina for 83 and 85 years old. Spend as much time and learn from their experiences as often as possible. It is great to see the love and support that Keith has for them as well. With some families fighting and not talking to each other it gives hope to society that strong family bonds are still a thing. The Oceanarium display of the Manatees looked so life like in the Orlando airport. Never saw anything like that at an airport, great idea. With Sea World so close it was a clever idea to have those sea life displays. Looking forward to see where your next travel destinations will take us.

Thank you for such a kind comment Ben, we feel so grateful for the time we got to spend with them in Florida. They are very easy travel companions :) It’s true the display at the airport was so neat! We were all so tired so didn’t spend too much time long at it as it was 1am but definitely a cool touch for the airport.

I love this so much! Your grandparents are awesome!! And you discovered the secret of doing Disney World--resort hopping! My daughter did the Disney College Program Internship as a Wilderness Explorer educator at Animal Kingdom last year. We had never been to Disney World (or FL) before last year. And so we learned this secret, too, via her! Now when we visit her, we go to the resorts instead of the parks. Also, Disney is so good about gluten-free. I always order extra rolls, if they have them, and take them home with me, lol.

I have hated flip flops since I was a teen. I cannot deal with the thing between my toes. Grandparents had the right foot wear and outfits. Back in 2007 it was actually cheaper to stay at a Disney hotel. Added Plus you could book your restaurants. Best place for Disney night time parade was the Italian place for dinner. Shuttles every day all day and if you just happen to stay in a Disney park after they say they are closed...they don't usually user you out...they just keep an eye on you to make sure you get back to the hotel or your car. This allows for One of a Kind Photos as there are NO Crowds!! IF you stay at a Disney hotel in the future, you will get a Memorable Encounter IF you enter the Magic Kingdom and instead of rushing with the crowds up main street, go up to the Train Platform, ignore the on line notice that the trains do not start running until later in the day from this location. Have your Camera Ready because this will be a quick hit or miss and no one has time to Stop.

When coming into the United States from Canada for a flight do you have any issues coming across the border?

Great question, no because we show our passports at the us/ Canada border and it’s very easy to cross :)
