As a Kamen Rider Fan, the "evolutions" doesn't make sense except for Kuuga. Kuuga can change forms and the DIM technically has all his forms. But Zero-One in contrast can "evolve" to Vulcan which is an entirely different Rider. 😅

The Rider ones definitely feel like they make less sense than the Ultra ones

Something I think they missed the mark on with these is the addition of the dim card only villains you can fight. The Ultraman Trigger dim card will have it's own unique villain characters you can battle against which is awesome. So far they haven't done that with any other characters though. If they won't have a raid mode in the app this could be a unique way of getting around that. Reenacting fights from the shows and getting new evolutions because of that could be a cool addition to set them more apart from the digimon vb. I think they should have played up these versions of the vital bracelet as a roleplaying toy instead of just the digimon vb but not digimon.

I would love if the baby level of the riders wouldn't be those shapeless faceless things but like a sprite the represent the citizen form of the rider

I have a question. I have a Kamen Rider Kuuga. Under the connect option, theres App Link and Spot. What is the Spot option for?

Can you grow both ultraman and kamen rider in single vital bracelet? My friend bought me the Ultraman Tiga's VBC. If I connected, e.g. Kuuga's VBM to it, is it compatible?

I also don't think that the V-Pet aspect fits Ultraman and Kamen Rider as well as Digimon. However, I think that Ultraman still fits more than Kamen Rider, because at least with most Ultraman series the idea is that the protagonist and the Ultra are a team. Like, the idea of the Vital Bracelet is that you and your "partner" are linked, with your personal fitness affecting your partner's status, and I think that fits Ultraman pretty well. Not to mention that the Ultraman line also features Ultra kaiju, which at least fit the V-Pet thing more. I'm just glad they don't make us clean up Ultraman's poop...

So, new fan, howdy. Found you because I was trying to look up stuff about my VBC since it arrived over the weekend. Point of clarification, just as a heads-up, volume 3 isn't the newest season for either franchise. Ultraman Z was 2020 and ended the same year, and Ultraman Trigger: New Generation Tiga started late last year and finished earlier this month, about a week or two after this video came out. Kamen Rider Build, the other wave three, is like four years old, running fall 2017 to fall 2018. We've actually already gotten a more recent Kamen Rider as part of wave 1; Zero-One. Sorry to be a nagging Nancy, I just wanted to point this out and be like "maybe there's a bit more hope for the line than you think." Sorry I couldn't come up with a better way to go about it. 😅

Also, it's far from the same as raising a Digimon, but there are a pair of Kamen Rider series about being partnered with demons; 2007's Kamen Rider Den-O and the current series, Kamen Rider Revice.
