One Whole Day at the Very Large Array 

For a couple of weeks in June 2018, the VLA’s antennae were shut down to implement an electricity upgrade. One of our scientists, Brian Kent -- who also happens to be a licensed pilot -- had the RARE opportunity to get some aerial footage of the array. Soundtrack by Scott Buckley.
