God, what a horrifying scene it was when DK burnt down Crocodile Isle and slaughtered the Kremlings in cold blood with his Coconut Gun. I'll never forget the scene where he faces the camera, turns, and walks on all fours into the flames that surround him.
And then when he ripped that women to bloody shreds, ate a plumber while litsening to him scream in pain, let’s not forget that city he destroyed, it chills me to my heart
I’d like to imagine that this is built around the fact that donkey Kong and sephiroth are both 3 syllable words. Like that came first, everything else came later.

Even after all the one winged kong covers I still consider this the definitive one. It might not be the earliest one or have the most moving parts but the sheer absurdity and usage of chanting has earned my respect

I just love how this is actually the plot to every DKC game,K.Rool or those masks or SOMEBODY decides to do one thing that messes with him even a little bit,and DK just decides it's genocide time.
@@cosmicneko7225 It's not like the gravity/ailment version we got. It's meant to just slam you. It's also why the mechanic of killing jenova with knights of the round causing supernova earlier and increasing sephiroth's stats exists. Without knights, it's 5000 damage or so, but with knights... I think it hits for 8000 damage at that point, maybe 9000, On some characters it might just 9999 you even? Gotta be max level or abuse HP up materia to survive at that point.
Nintendo characters are mega-OP in general. Faster than light, powerful enough to destroy stars, unimaginably durable. It's kinda scary that Diddy Kong could probably kill Superman.
