@@pauliandelrosario it's the elevator to the tourist observation deck, so probably totally separate from the "regular" elevators workers use. Every elevator in the building doesn't do this. So, those people do look largely underwhelmed. 😆 lol

i was watching this from a computer screen at home and i was like woowwww, wish i could see this in person, at first when it got to the last year on the screen i wasnt sure if what they were looking at was real time or it was all video, but still awesome..

In New York we see things like this all the time so we are never really phased by things like this

they do show them though. if they had video to the right you'd have seen them between the years of their time

I live near and visited the building in 2018 and I overheard someone ask that and they said that the purpose of that is to show the power of moving forward and not to create trauma or bad memories. And someone else said “that’s what the museum is for….”

Even though every single person who visits One World Trade Center is aware of the 9/11 attacks, it's not really that nice to be reminded of death and terror everytime one takes the elevator, now is it?

I think that elevator wouldn't be used by office workers.

People working in the WTC wouldn’t be taking the observatory attractions to their offices.

Horrifying, all the teachers were crying, students were unsure as to what was happening, although my neighbor told me that older students were balling their eyes out when the administrator walked in to tell us that our president had been assassinated and that school will be dismissed. All stores were closed, in some ways we are sure that the Russians did it and we're ready to make a cold war into a real war. That is really when the nuclear bunkers started to become more prevalent, and the office in Washington was starting to get disheveled with 50 weeks worth of investigating, never ending trips and spies, and production of weaponry in a few factories in case of the start of a f-all out war.

Well, in the for ground, but not the background. And they should have really spiced it up and showed automobiles change shape and color on the streets. You'd be surprised how far up you can be and still see an automobile crystal clear.

I know someone cried when I went a couple years ago when that happened.

I had no clue whatsoever as what to expect in that elevator and just randomly filmed what I saw back then over six years ago. :) Only now saw those towers appearing and dissapearing again in another video.:) I’ll try better next time, k? ;)
