Right, people can say what they want about Yzerman free agent signing, some good, some bad exactly what you get from the open market... however his drafting is excellent. I trust Yzerman completely. Is he perfect no but he knows what he's doing hence our #1 prospect pool.

People only say he was a “reach” because everyone expects the high offensive talent/high bust rate players to go in that range still. Steve picked him up, and still got ASP. It was an excellent draft.

It's pretty obvious when Dan Cleary was asked about Nate Danielson's progress and he simply said: There's not much I that can really say, he's just a really good mature hockey player. It kind of sounds like Danielson is already a more talented player than Cleary could have ever hoped to be Lol. Dan Cleary obviously wasn't an upper echelon talent by any means, but he was a solid bottom and middle 6 forward for several years in the NHL.

I am still a believer that Marco kasper is going to be second line center behind Larkin and get 20-30 goals and between 60/70 points a season and Nate Danielson will be 3rd line center that will give us that depth we need to win it all. Marco had a hell of a ending to his ahl season he just isn’t talked about because of his slow start but next year I can see him having a breakout season getting 0.7 to 0.8 points a game in AHL. He will be the guy the second line needs!

@@hockeydog2172 I absolutly love your Kasper view but let's be honest Danielson has a higher ceiling that's pretty obvious to me... both should be top 6 C in the NHL But the only one I see able to reach the 1C conversation is Danielson he's more dynamic than Kasper Great playmaking great transitional play 2way force too like Kasper but with even more offense dont get me wrong both could be great I just give Danielson a clear edge upon Kasper

@@hockeydog2172 not to forget there's a HUGE gap between being a 2C in AHL and being a 2C in the NHL you could be true but in a scenario where Larks will not be in.
