I (almost) never write comments on RU-vid, but not on your channel. This is not only very interesting content for me, a photographer. But the mentions of the Russian war in Ukraine and your support for Ukrainians warm up my heart. Thank you and greetings from Kyiv💙💛
Some really good images! Do you know the work of Michael Wesely? He has done some ultra long exposures - some took about 4 years long! Mainly from buildings during their construction, but there's also 5 minute portrait and some flowers long exposures too. If you don't know his work, please take a look, it's worth.
Thanks for sharing Michael Wesley! Stunning art. I can't concieve how he managed several days' long exposure, let alone a year's long exposure. But I don't even need to know. I love his work!
Well done. I am actually curious to get the idea of what shutter speed was used for this. It comes close to Alexey Titarenko work. Nice project and looks good.👍
I wasn't aware of Cole Thompson's work, thanks for bringing it to my attention. My attempt at this technique was inspired by Alexey Titarenko's work in the early 90s.
hey, what's up! i rewatched better call saul's last season yesterday and i wondered how they made the b&w look like that. i tought it could be a great video topic for your channel, i don't know much about photography (i'm more into painting) but when i first saw the last bcs episode, i immediatly tought about your channel. keep up the good work, it is really appreciated. i hope you'll see my comment
The stile from a russian photographer whose photoing people at the end of soviet union. And now you, photoing people who stands against an akin russian regime.
What exposure time were you using? I sepnt a morning in Ubud, bali doing panning shots of people going to work on scooters with long exposure. Motion blur if done right, and you did it right, can be very effective. Kind of gohstly impressions of the past. Nice work.
I do not wish to comment on the political content of this video. Instead I want to congratulate you on the production - it is a masterful and worthy Titarenko inspired achievement. Congratulations.
Maybe in the future, although I already have a backlog of other photographers I'm working on. Already shot the videos/photographs, just need to take some time to edit it all together.
