The DeWalt can put out 100W while the majority of USB power banks only put out 18W, or maybe 30W. This means you could charge your laptop with the DeWalt, but not the others. The cable they give you not a generic throwaway, rather it is a power cable that also good for 100W. Very informative and funny video.
Great video. RU-vid needs more reviews where the product is used over a period of time. When you first said what you were going to travel with it, I thought to myself that TSA will not be a fan.
If you pair it up with a 100W USB-C charger, it will charge faster than most of the Dewalt chargers. Dewalt considers anything 4A or higher a fast charger, this adapter is 5A if connected to a 100W USB-C charger (vs. the 65W that Dewalt ships with this). I have the 1106 and 1108 that will charge faster, but those are probably the only Dewalt chargers that charge faster. I bought this because of the ultra compact size. Now I can have a small (and relatively fast) charger in my tool bag and it also doubles as a battery bank. I think the small size is an advantage for people who might need to take it with them.
First the cable that you used for your phone is not for my cable that came with the charger it recommends using 100 white cable charger wire it would probably work a lot better if you had used it. I think your review would’ve been a lot better.
You are either so IMPORTANT (to be on your phone) or you're so BORED (so you're on your phone) and it runs out of juice very quickly... (I'm neither, so my phone is ALWAYS charged)
Seems like this charger would be good to throw in my truck just in case I need it! I use the 20-Volt Max Power Station DCB1800B at my house and my cabin. Don’t really have much use for the chargers that come with the tools.
