Not only have Ryan and Rob done so much to put Wrexham on the map, but our nation and our language! As a Welshman - I feel indebted with gratitude to the pair of them, and that I hope they know that they're both honorary Welshmen themselves! Diolch yn fawr a cariad fawr i chi gyd! Thank you very much and much love to you all!
Club in a much better position thanks too the owners. Attendances on the rise, acts of kindness , ground improvements, money to entice players from league above, no one can ever knock the owners so far they been bang on, long may it continue. All the pressure is now on parkinson as he had the tools to get us out of this division, also harvey backside will be twitching if he was the one who advised r and r to get parkinson as if parky fails , it means harvey failed.
This is beautiful. To see my fellow Canadian Ryan and his mate Rob do this at the club where I stood on the Kop as a lad is phenomenal. Thank you. Next time I'm over from Toronto to the town of my birth I'll be making a beeline to the Racecourse Ground...If I can get a ticket!
Wrexham AFC has a dear place for me even though I never been to a game. My Great Uncle, Malcolm Allan, was a life long supporter and the club supported him even though his learning difficulties often held him back in other areas of society. My first kit was a Wrexham kit bought by Malcolm.
Not a Wrexham supporter , But find the story interesting, Love to see how two Americans are discovering what it means to follow a British Club and the fact they are getting immersed in the local community is great. Wrexham fans are true fans who have stuck with their club through thick and thin and hopefully get their reward as they get back into the Football League......love from a Killie fan.
Celtic fan here whole thing is so surreal bit wary of these two upstarts coming here and I was worried they were put to exploit Wrexham. They come across as sincere and genuine though, exciting times for you guys and be following closely HAIL HAIL 🍀🍀
Grimsby supporter here. Great that there is more interest in your club now and, obviously apasrt from tomorrow, I wish you all the best. A similar thing is happening at Blundell Park too, only not with movie people, but local bods done well. It's good to see interest in grass roots football reaching over the pond, I especially liked the bit about how it has increased interest and support for women's football too, we have a striong ladies team culture at town too. See you in League two or one at some point, but whatever happens tomorrow it won't be next season and I think you will be playing Scunthorpe, not us. Now there's a town that needs a fan base :-)
I think it'll be good to see Wrexham in League Two next season; Ryan and Rob have done a wonderful job. Might have to do a FIFA22 Mini Series with Wrexham and build them up to win the League Two title
Guys You are amazing and the passion of the whole town is incredible. I started to simpatize your club and wish you all the best from Montenegro. Like everything what Ryan Reinolds did but he must be with the real fans in the crowd and sing 90 minutes, to make them love him.
Is Ryan Reynolds the nicest man in the world? Probably........ Congratulations to the club, Ryan and Rob and most importantly, the fans! As this looks like an amazing result for Wrexham and the community there!
i am not a soccer fan ⚽️ after watching *Welcome to Wrexham* on Hulu now m rooting for 'em, hope they're going to get promotion in 22-23. xx. from sunny LA! Go Wrexham!!👏👏👏
Started watching the series and supporting Wrexham all the way. Rob & Ryan living the dream and big fans of them. Started watching the series and fell in love with the journey. Wish them well and will be managing them on Football Manager.
Working on getting Wrexham Football support in my town Maysville Kentucky USA so the supporters are coming from everywhere thanks to Rob and Ryan. DAYMAN, AWWWWW, FIGHTER OF THE NIGHT MAN, CHAMPION OF THE SUN. it's an Always Sunny in Philadelphia reference for Rob, seems people are always chanting Deadpool so thought I'd show Rob some love. Go Red ✌️💙
Nice to see good people, who happen to be big celebs, follow through on everything. Certainly no shortage of celebs out there who would buy something just to say they did it, and then move on.
hope they get promoted up to league 2, but if they dont i just realized my team, Oldham Athletic, will be playing them, Ryan Reynolds in Oldham, that'll be a shock, for him....
This has been really great to watch, and I wish the Wrexham players, community, Ryan and Rob all success. Not sure how I feel about them being sponsored by Tik Tok though...Not an ideal sponsor in my opinion.
It may seem mathematically impossible but it is entirely normal for people to give 110% at least 110% of the time. I'm sure now they have been to some games they realise what happens on the pitch is a big part of the game but definitely not 110% of it. By the way yes I am English and infuriated that the tried to teach me French at school and didn't give me the chance to fail in the language of my fellow islander's
For any Americans watching this, the league they are in is like comparing for example the minors in baseball, maybe Single A or a little bit lower...... So as you can see they have a long road ahead if they want to get into the Majors. I hope they progress well, and really really hope this isn't just a novelty
“Hey are you going to be coming to the game today”. The word you’re looking for is match. But I’m a British football fan and shit like that matters to me 😂
Rob had a football obsessed writer, got him into football and after watching "Sunderland till I die" he got interested in the idea of owning a club a taking them from nothing back up to greatness"
I love nearly everything about this whole story. Only thing really pissing me off is seeing the tiktok sponsorship on the shirts. tiktok is cancer and should be banned.
All the cynical lads saying "same old shite on the pitch" - sure what do you expect them to do, suit up and play themselves? And they're in a promotion spot at the time of this comment. You can resent a couple of North Americans all you want but what else could you want from owners? It's clearly more than just a financial investment; a genuine, personal investment. Better than the Glazers anyway!
one day they will leave, then what. hope a lasting legacy is left. Its not about the now, its 20,30 + years time. If they can get a leg up league wise and sponserships come in then there is hope. Hollywood money wont be around forever
I'm a lifelong Newport fan. I am so happy that Wrexham and your awful, entitled, joyless fans will endure yet another season rotting in your non-league cesspit. Can't wait to see the movie. Enjoy. 😝.
