Hi.. Please share with those that had trouble connecting to your spindle kit for 1Finity. You asked me to reflash the 1F program. I did and it worked. IMPORTANT!!!! Please share with your customers. IF you reflash your 1Finity program you will LOSE any modifications you made, such as.... Voltage changes, Home stall amps etc. MAke note before you reflash. Love the PWN 80 mm Spindle.

im attempting to set up my spindle right now and it constantly says disconnected no matter what i do but my modbus cable didnt come with the retention screws on the side is that something that can cause this issue and if so how can i go about getting those screws?

The quickstart guide I received with my PwnCNC spindle included a Controller Guide that applies to Onefinity firmware " >= v1.1.2". I upgraded directly from Onefinity v1.0.9 to v1.2.1 via the web, so Automatic Control should be working as long as the PwnCNC VFD or EM60 show up under the Tool screen. However, neither of those tools show up in the Tool screen. Is firmware 1.3.0 RC1 beta now required for the feature shown on this video?

Looks like i'll need to update the title of that guide... the correct version is 1.3.0... which will list the "PwnCNC VFD" in the tools menu. There was a big mess-up with their firmware team with the whole 2.0 debacle. They've got a whole new team working on it now and 1.3.0 is the first release they're pushing out. I worked with both teams and it's confusing... but with the new team... 1.3.0 is what you want to be using.

I had issues with the 1.3 alpha 1 firmware where it would not load any files via network or usb. I was provided alpha 3 by Onfinity support and I have not had an issue since.

My understanding is they’ve placed a single change into each alpha version in an attempt to keep changes isolated for proper testing. Conservative by programming standards but makes sense given how v2 blew up on them. I’m sure once 1.3.0 beta is released they’ll have all the alpha changes rolled into one.
