@Branden Bodendorfer at 1:56 you mentioned how to hide “pages tab”, thanks a ton for that man. It was literally very irritating to me to use one note with pages tab on side of my working area and I don’t knew how to hide that… I have watched around 4-5 videos on one note but none of them mentioned this thing in their video. Also, I don’t know why I never saw that “↗️↙️” icon on the top right corner thou I have used the settings icon many times. Thanks a lot buddy for mentioning this in your video. I got used to of working on one note with pages tab still open, but now I know how to close that tab, all because of you, thanks a lot once again mate.
Hi… How do you insert a complete planner into the OneNote??? page by page??? or is there a way to pull it all in one touch as other applications do??? Thanks,
Brandon, thanks for this kickstart with OneNote. I have never been a OneNote fan, but decided to go with it for using your planner. A week in, I've been very happy. Thanks!
Thanks for the kind words James. I want us to all find success in digital planning. I believe digital planning with be the cornerstone to the next frontier. 😁
@@bodendorfer pretty sure you said it and but you def spelled it “grill” cheese. Just razzing ya! You say potato, I say tater! Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful!
Agree. All around onenote is a great app for note taking. Plus there is a lot of features from recording audio, tagging and file mark up to name a few.
@@bodendorfer What do you mean "file markup?" I don't see the planner on my smartphone. I'm guessing it's only for tablets, laptops or desktops? Thanks for the video.
Hi Branden. Being the guru that you are with OneNote makes me ask you; what your preference are between samsung app vs OneNote when it comes to reading through the notes that have been written? Personally I find OneNote cumbersome to flip pages on my Samsung galaxy s6 Lite. When browsing through the pages the menu fills up 40% of the screen and if I want to scroll down on a page the page itself is selected and the menu disappers. Perhaps you, or someone on the thread, have some tricks to flip through pages? Thanks, Andreas
I just saw your channel and this video. I’m an old (69) guy who used OneNote prior to IPads. I had a Toshiba tablet notebook. Since I am older now, I need memory and better planning as I did in my younger days. What advice do you have on size and kind of iPad to go with? Mac intel, M1, or wait for M1X.
yes. there is several. I officially don't have a favorite, but go to amazon search for paper-like screen protector for surface. Purchase one with good reviews. Generally I have to replace every 6 months.
Thanks for the video! I’m new to one note on iPad / Mac. I can’t seem to add templates do I need to create a custom one or are you able to explain how please?
If you look at our templates, these are designed notebook pages that you can import into Onenote as a notebook. Once you have them imported, you can set them as templates, or you can copy the pages. We also have Tiles, which are digital elements that you can use to create your own designs. There are a handful of videos here that showcase those tiles. brandenbodendorfer.com/key2success-planner-tiles/
Where do I get this planner ? I have an older generation iPad .. As stated in description, do I, necessarily, need iPad Pro for this planner to work ? Thanks .. 🙂
@@bodendorfer yeah i actually use it to link certain files to my one drive which during a meeting instead of finding the files one by one i just click those links
You made me really thirsty at the end at the bloppers. Now I need to get off my ass and get a can. I'm easily led, I know. Had a wee chuckle when you said OneNote even works on Windows systems and devices.
lol - thanks for that comment. Honestly, I have to realize that there is a lot of people that are just getting into using these application and I need to bring it down a level. I am still waiting for my Pepsi sponsorship, but nothing has arrived in the mail. :)
This is a video that shows you a few great tips including on to use outlooks meetings and tasks in the Key2Success Planner with OneNote: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E2ZSRxII-TE.html
yes there is away of doing this. Look at this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-E2ZSRxII-TE.html Go to chapter at 17:27. We show how to do this.
How do I move the tabs such as My page has the lists of notebooks on the left then the calendar and the tabs from the top showing on the left. I want the list to be in between the list of notebooks and the calendar
Hey - If you are a long time user of OneNote you are going to love the planning system. Learn more about our planning system for OneNote here: brandenbodendorfer.com/onenote-digital-planners-shop/
I have a fire tablet and I downloaded one note and I like it but mine looks a little different like. Yours looks like a actual note book opened and I like that feature and mine doesn’t. Is that drawn like that?
Do you have a content that features Audio Recording from a lecture and imbed it to the One Note and also how good is the Search feature in finding the text in various notes.
I have a lot of repeat tasks can I do this in your planner. also does it automatically share with all three of my apple devices, phone iPad and Mac. Does the planner have alert feature for appointments?
But that is not "digital planing". What we have seen is only analog planning saved in digital form. When you scribe your tasks, are they converted to digital form that you can search them later, by typing on the keyboard (with search engine)? Why didn't we see abilities to convert handwriting to typed text? Is it possible to manage resources by such handwriting notes (assign fragments of notes to team members)? Is it possible to take photos, place them in a particular place of note, then OCR to tables etc.? What about creating dependencies between tasks (by drawing arrows) and making diagrams (eg. Gantt)? And most important: such written by hand tasks create notifications that my synced devices could remind me? Only such examples covers so-called digital planning.
If i purchased your planner for OneNote to use on my Ipad now, will I be able to synch all data over to my Supernote later this year with past and current notes?
@@bodendorfer with that said - are you familiar with the super note tablet and what platform that uses that I can simply use on my iPad for now for your planner? (Not sure if one note can be done on supernote?)
Thank you for the video. How can I fix the issue where I am trying to write something and the "T" on the left hand side comes on? It is very annoying and I have to click on the eraser, then click on the pin color I need to use to be able to write again. (This is on my I pad.) Thanks in advance!
Hey Branden. Just discovered your channel. Great stuff... just subscribed. I wanted to learn more about your planner system... the links you included to the system and training do not work. Could you repost them please. Thanks!
The planner is available as a notebook, that you can import into OneNote and syncs across your devices. Learn more here OneNote Planner Shop: bit.ly/3H0n6j5
In OneNote, is there a way to go back to my previous location after click on a link to another location within OneNote. There's a back button in the Windows app.
I have the Samsung Tab S6. I use the 2013 version of OneNote however I do not have the top two lines that show in your video (Home, Insert, Draw and font size, bullets, etc) when I'm in the landscape position. It does show up in portrait. Is there something I need to do in my settings to show it fully in landscape?
Yes, as long as you are syncing your notebook with one drive, the notes will index and within 24 hours any notes you have taking are searchable, even handwritten notes.
Hi, I'm a long-time iPad user but completely new to One Note. I'm considering trying it to implement a digital bullet journal-style planner. Your video makes me think this is very do-able, but I'm confused about the "planner" pages I'm seeing: are those available templates in OneNote or is that a product you developed and are selling? How can I learn more? Thanks.
That is awesome to hear that you are looking at going digital with your planning and note-taking. OneNote has some templates, but they are very basic. We offer a wide range of templates for planning and note-taking on our site. www.key2successplanner.com
In this video I believe I was using the Desktop version and mobile version. When it comes to switching, as long as you have your planner stored in OneDrive you can open the notebook across any device that you are signed into onenote with. So you can sign into the Windows 10 version and view your notebook as well. Hope this helps.
@@bodendorfer in onenote on my tablet i dont have all these functions like you do in the video, it kind of looks like i have a light version of onenote.. but I cant find other versions of onenote in Play store. Do you have a solution?
How do you import the template. I am new and learning. I need to know how to do this because I see a number of organizations want you to only take notes via one note.
Say I write some text (ink) usine The Apple Pencil.. How can I use the Lasso tool to select and convert to text? This I can do on my OneNote for windows.
Hi, I saw in the video that on your iPad you have more features to choose from like the one with shapes, features that I don't have on my OneNote app. Could you please help me with a solution to my problem? I am a student and really need the shapes feature for math. Thank you!
Hi Brandon, I am using the key2success planner for a month and enjoying the experience. I would like to know whether there is any way to create a task in your digital planner that can be integrated with Microsoft to-do. This integration will be very helpful as it will help in creating the real ecosystem for e-planning.
Thanks for the comment. That is a tip that is requested by so many. I have not found a solution that I fully support, however I know more and more integration is in the works.
@@bodendorfer does your product has notification capability, e.g., alarm, pop up, or some type of notifications for scheduled appointments and or things-to-do items (Tasks)?
You are able to add sections. Can you add them in any group section or in the root notebook. In some cases this function is better preformed from a desktop or online.

Hey man! Great video - dropped a like and a sub :) is it possible to transfer handwritten notes into text form? Like it would be typed? Thanks anyways 👍🏻
Google dropping the ball here … one note has to be my fav been using it the past month just wish google integration existed google keep didn’t “keep” my attention at all
@@bodendorfer sir i m using one note on ipad 7 gen but when i creates about 2 page notes it will take about 40 mb in my internal even i have linked my one drive with one note
the most annoying thing about onenote is when we want to rename or remove notebooks we have to open the url instead of simply doing it on the fly within the application. Notion is much more user friendy minus the handwriting feature
this is more of a tutorial for the calendar. I don't mind and I like the calendar and maybe I will purchase but title for this video is deceptive. So for me, it's a thumbs down because I don't like to be baited
@@bodendorfer No... it's how to use YOUR digital planner in the one note app. Again, I like the calendar but the title is deceptive. I might purchase it. I have one note and good notes. I can't decide which one I should buy. I like your digital planner more than some others because I still get to write instead of type. And I enjoy the writing experience on my iPad.
