I just ordered this to replace my old 3T. I was cross-shopping against the ZenFone 6 and K20 Pro. However, the cost for importing the other two ended up being $300 - 400 more after taxes and in the end I couldn't swap Oxygen OS for MIUI. That said I don't think anyone would be unhappy with any of these phones
Honestly I've stopped using the wide angle because it distorts most of the time. It was rare to take a good picture that doesn't look obviously distorted.
@@Matti_MT-07 rgb cam + monochrome is better for portraits than a stupid depth sensor, see the Huawei P9 phones and their portraits, it was quite ahead of it's time
I think it probably is worth it - weirdly the two top things I look for are battery life and OIS (which seems to make a big difference to cameras IMHO), although wireless charging also important now as I nearly bust the charge port on my current phone. Waterproofing also nice to have as my son watches RU-vid in the bath(!). I would seriously consider this at the current price point though
S9+ maybe? Slightly more expensive but u get every flagship feature nowadays. Just set the screen resolution to 1080p for better battery life instead. Snap 845 is still very powerful
Actually oneplus 7 is a great phone with an amazing performance and speed. While gaming it was slippery from my hands due to the back glass. For the better grip and protection I applied a famous skin from gadgetshieldz called Raptor.
My bro & me been using our new OP 7 devices from last 2 weeks and nevertheless pretty impressed by its performance...save a couple of naggles/bugs...the auto brightness sensor goes crazy frequently and often have to adjust it manually...also the haptic feedback quality has reduced after recent updates & the ambient screen waking with notifications doesn't work truly...am on Oxygen OS 9.5.7 with 1st June 2019 security update...eagerly checking for updates to have these fixed on our phones...have posted in the Oneplus community forums on this too...
Personally, I am fan of the OP7, more so than the Pro version. I live in the U.S., therefore, the OP7 is not sold here. 1) Where can I buy one online? 2) Will it work on T-Mobile in the states? Thanks!
So using a passive adapter with Oneplus 7 will result in poor audio quality? :/ anyone got an idea what sort of adapter comes with 6T in the box? passive or active?
@@rishavraj3766 found out that adapter in 6T box is passive. And the conversion is made from the phone's DAC. Seems like there is a slight drop in quality :/ I was wondering whether to get OnePlus 7 or galaxy s10. But with this issue I might go for galaxy s10.
@@ahindas6272 i have this phone. I could play only games all day (heavy ones at that) and it lasts an average screen on time of minimum 7 hours and up to 9 hours. This phone is amazing. Gaming is such a smooth experience. No lag, no frame drops, it's graceful. The only thing I guess isn't that good about it is that sometimes the camera can get really grainy, but only in dark spaces. Otherwise, both the front and back camera are very high quality with sharp photos. I really don't regret buying this phone. Coming from an iPhone 6, this is heaven and I'm so grateful to have this phone. Go for it !
I wouldn't go with renewed, it may be something that was repaired and is worse than just used. I returned a Galaxy S9+ because a seller over claimed it's condition of the phone I got saying in the site that their phones were renewed to "like new", but, it had a few dust particles underneath the cheap screen protector that they slapped on the phone, I then removed it and was greeted with several nicks and several small scratches right on the screen itself, I then found that the fingerprint sensor was cracked and poorly repaired.
Still using my Oneplus one, that being said. I'm looking for a upgrade either this or the huawei mate 20 pro. Or go for the Oneplus 7 pro but i can get a huawei p30 pro or galaxy s10/+ in the same price range. To many options *sigh*
@@AgungRizkiAS I'm a person who holds hes phone for several years most likely 3+. So future proofing. A decent camera is always welcome solid OS not to much bloat. Not sure about curved screens since i have no experience with them. Pop up camera scares me a bit since i keep my phones for several years.
@@Allnuts-H and curved glass is the worst trend ever on smartphone. It makes the phone hard to hold, distorted image while watching content, and it's crazy hard to repair
@@AgungRizkiAS I would also love your opinion. Been using my phone (Honor 6) for 5 years so Im looking for a new phone that can last me long. I was troubling with oneplus 7 and k20 pro, but MIUI and popup camera made me hesitate about future proofing
