@@mikeevans7381 they aren't going to sound like shit because it's on those format it's just not worth it since it's supposed to use hi res. All you are using is the physical parts at its most basic
Actually I have a OnePlus. And 2 realme. When I plugged in the latest edifiers, it proposed ldhc and ldac. I guess that on another brand it will propose ldac only. Anyway, to use this type of codecs, you need to have quite a performing phone.
I have the 1+ buds 3. I have 1 thing to say: yes these are THE 100$ earbuds you need to buy. I was sceptical too until i plugged these into my ears. Dont spend more time searching for the perfect one. These are the ones.
I actually love Pod design and not stick design So if these were a POD design these were extremely perfect for me.... But I guess I have to compromise on design for Sound quality
It's great to see OnePlus making a comeback with their phones and buds. In the future, I would rather buy their stuff as they offer high-tech quality products for a low price.
The One+ 12R is coming here to the US and it starts at 500$. And it will support these buds just like the One+ 12 flagship. I'm glad you decided to review these i love the Pro 2s. 💯👍🇺🇸
@@mohammedadnanshaikh9906 3 has more features, sound quality is pretty much the same but 3D audio is better on pro 2. Pro 2 has head tracking but it's a bit slow and I am not a big fan of head tracking. Also pro 2's have claimed lower latency of 54ms in contrast to 94ms on the 3's. Otherwise they both are pretty much the same.
@@mohammedadnanshaikh9906 Pro 2 by a wide margin. They have better quality woofers in the dual-driver setup (although they use the same tweeters) so you end up with better sound quality. Sound quality wise honestly the pro 2 is better in pretty every way. Larger driver with better materials (at least for the woofer) means that for the bass and the mids, the pro 2 has much better resolution, frequency response and frequency consistency. Given that the pro 2 are dirty cheap (even new) thanks to OP bundling it with the OP 12, the only real advantage the 3 has is that they have a better set of touch controls. The controls are very basic and kinda mediocre on the pro 2.
I'm returning my Galaxy Buds 2 Pro and getting these. Mainly because my ears have been getting infected from using the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. I've never had an issue with any type of earbuds in this way before. These look like a solid choice for a replacement.
I couldn't fit the OnePlus buds pro 2 eartips in my ears, large pair. The buds always felt like they would fall out. And I was disappointed with the noise cancelling. Sound on the other head, top notch! I don't have an lhdc capable phone.
Thanks for the review! I grabbed the full OnePlus ecosystem today for sub-$1,000.. with the top-line OP12 phone, free 50w wireless charger, 30% off the OP Watch 2 & Buds 3, 10% student discount, and $100 any device trade-in (a very run down Galaxy Note 8 from 2 phones ago). Not a bad deal! I'm mourning the loss of the LG V-series, but I'm hoping OnePlus will live up to the hype.
Also 16 by 44 is supposed to be cd quality pretty sure what you said is above cd quality but you have to have a player that supporta it. But as mentioend by another youll never be able to use it at that rat3 with out an foreign phone so apple samsung google sony Motorola they wont get high res feom these
I had the Oneplus 7 Pro and it WAS my favorite phone until about a week ago. The last few years I have been using Samsung. But my new favorite phone is actually the Oneplus 12. I'm so happy to see and experience Oneplus taking a step back and re-evaluating what made them so great. As soon as my current ear buds die, I will definitely be making the switch. My only complaint is lack of color choices. I would love to see a color that matches my OP12.
These look like a great deal. And the mics sound very good too. They have packed a lot into the $99 price point. We are definitely living in the golden age of earbuds 😊 Thanks for another great video!
My dog broke my sony's wf xm4 and didn't have a budget for new replacement. I bought the one plus buds2 pro for 100 dollars and sale and I was blown away with the sound quality
Either your dog likes good music, or he doesn't like Soni 😂😂😂😂😂 You have the only dog in the world that when you pull his tail, you got the news 😀 😀😀😀. At your place, I would make a circus show with him. You potentially can earn a fortune like that. 😂😂😂
Why is the One Plus Buds 3 sell for $99 and the One Plus Bud 2 Pro cost $179 ? Is the 2 Pro an earlier rendition? Where is the best site to purchase? One Plus?
These in many ways might the total answer for me !!! Not using wire or headphones and switching and was considering G-clips?? And I have really great treble hearing but just good or adequate bass !!! Definitely will be try-out this because these might be good enough for covering everything in a single package !!! ?? 🤔 😊 🤗 !!!
Hey Gamesky, great video as always! 2 questions Does this buds has that illuminating light when on anywhere like the oneplus wireless z, i observed your video closely but couldnt really figure from the camera angles? The light is disturbing as hell which i dont like in dark rooms Question 2 Can i use theese as either left or right or is it like the Jabras that it has that stupid config that you have to use RIGHT only for one bud usage? Sending you love from sweden ❤
I do not know about illumating light but I am certain that you can use whichever earbud you want for single usage. That is the case for most OnePlus earbuds even for cheap ones like the first generation buds z.
What do you think is a better earbud, the One Plus Buds 3 or the Soundpeats Air 4 Pro? Both are under $100 and offer a lot for your money. After listening to both do you have a preference. Always enjoy your videos!
I loved these buds until i found out that i am allergic to them 😭😭😭. It's not the first type of earbuds to which i am allergic, but there are many other earbuds that i am not allergic to ! and there are other type of earbuds (apple, samsung) that are notorious known to provoke allergies. We don't know why, and i have only reports about these brands because they have more users than the other brands. what i can tell you is that when i put them on, after a short time, i get an inflammation of my ear skin. i am very upset, because i love the sound of these buds, but i can't really use them. I will try to put eartips on another brand, just in case i woould be allergic of the eartips instead of being allergic to the buds
I ended up going with the one plus buds 3 pro version of these as I hear they're stellar so I've got to say that I'm really look forward to trying them when they arrive here at the end of August. (I also have the hawei 5is and the 6is as well) but you know
Thanks for this amazing video... i just want to know i am samsung phone user it doesn't support lhdc but it has ldac support which one i should go for 1+ bud 3 or liberty 4 nc?
Do you recommend eartip replacements for these such as the SpinFit CP1025, SednaEarfit Xelastec or any others? Do you know the nozzle diameter on the oneplus bud3? Also would cheap Magnetic AirPods Straps fit the oneplus and do you think it would get in the way of the touch controls? TIA
This review was incredibly helpful! I was really confused about whether to go for the OnePlus Buds 3 or other alternatives, but this review made it clear that the OnePlus Buds 3 are the right choice for me.😊
Thank you Gamesky. I watch and love your videos. However, in this one I'm not sure you mentioned that the LHDC Hi Res codec they offer is only compatible with their own OnePlus phones and perhaps other chinese brands but NOT with Samsung or iphones and the most common ones. This is a deal breaker to many of us since they can only be used with the generic non HI-Res AAC and SBC codecs.
FINALLY !!! Correct me if i am wrong : Oneplus and Realme are 2 companies of the same group. Correct me again if i am wrong : it is unlikely that they will have 2 different teams for developing ear buds. Now i am telling for several months that the realme buds air 5 pro are awesome and you never reviewed them. from what you say , the oneplus buds are an evolution of the realme buds. A better codec, a better ANC. I have no doubt that these buds will be awesome too. Specially considering that that they are at least 40% more expensive that the other ones. It only proves that my advice are still not so bad 😁😁😁 I am temped to buy these oneplus buds because of the better ANC that you report. But if your wiewers are budget concerned they can fall for realme buds air 5 because they are alread awesome for a part of the price of those 😷
I received them today. Good that my phone is a OnePlus because the playstore app is not yet handling this model. I would have been unable to fine tune them. The sound is very near from the realme air buds 5 pro. As good in fact i don't see a huge difference. Maybe those are better, but the other ones was already so good... The real difference is a much better anc. This time compared to the edifiers neobuds 2. The external voices are clearly reduced by a magnitude of 2 or 3. I can still hear the tv because i don't want raise too much the volume of the buds What is really nice too is the ability to control everything easily, and to change the volume by sweeping the finger on the stems.
I'm a big fan of the OnePlus Buds line since the OnePlus Buds Pro. And was looking forward to the touch volume control feature, but I'm not a fan of the reduction of matte finish on the design when compared to the previous versions. Sincerely considering not upgrading from my OnePlus Buds 2 Pro, since I can easily control the earbuds volume with my Watch6.
@@cucu9291 it will come down to your own personal preference when it comes to sound but the OnePlus are going to be more for bass heads over the Moondrop which I feel is more for accuracy
Hey hope your all good! I was wondering which do feel are better earbuds ......... OnePlus buds 3 or the opera 5? Most important thing for me is sound. Thank you
Hie, I've an iPhone 13 pro and I ordered realme buds Air 5 pro for 4k with all discounts but I cancelled it since one plus buds 3 was launched. I can afford OnePlus for 5.5K also but I'm confused between 2. My priority is music and good bass can you suggest which one should I get as both have same features and I've a iPhone so I'm confused which one will work better with it.
Nothing Earbuds 2 is also good. You can get it for around Rs. 6.5k or less with offer during Flipkart Sale. Between relame and oneplus, Go for Oneplus Buds 3 as it will go on sale for 4.5K with card offer.
If there is a need for wireless charging, then you need to take OnePlus buds 2 Pro. If you need a volume control function on the headphones themselves, then this function appeared in Oneplus buds 3. In terms of sound quality, they are almost the same, and in other characteristics they are also similar.
These have a little more life in the treble so they are slightly brighter, low end is about the same and I feel like vocalists also are a little more forward in the 3's
Solid review as usual! As a current user of the OnePlus Buds Pro 2, glad to see the quality and features are in the rise. Battery life is not a deal breaker in my book. Mic sounds great as the Buds Pro 2 is my 2nd go-to for calls next to the Liberty 3 Pro. Thx!!
Can you tell if the 3's sound quality is actually as good as the pro 2's cuz thats what people are saying but its kinda unbelievable considering in my country, the pro 2's are more than twice the price.
That would be a tough one. I feel like the Buds 3 have the edge when it comes to Mids and Treble. When it comes to bass I would say this is going to come down to personal preference, the Buds 3 has more bass but it feels slightly less controlled compared to the Nothing Ear 2's
I can only speak about the comparison with the Buds Pro 2 and I feel like these have a cleaner sound over the Buds Pro 2. The bass seems almost exactly the same with maybe a slight advantage to the Buds Pro 2 in that area. The overall sound feels more refined in the Buds 3
I’ll wait till the Oneplus Buds 3 Pro’s come out in 6 months haha I’m one of those people that don’t buy much in terms of electronics BUT when I do I would rather get the higher end of whatever I do buy…for example I say that as I am listening to this video on my brand new $320 ($299+ tax) Sony WF-1000XM5’s. However I am interested to see if there is anything that is really good for a cheaper price. I have my doubts because one thing I’ve noticed over my last nearly 40 years, more often than not YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR!!! I’ve always been a fan of Sony and I’ve NEVER had ANY ISSUES WITH ANY Sony product I’ve bought from my Sony Walkman (yes a TAPE PLAYER HAHA), Sony portable CD player, original iPod docking speaker, laptops, TV’s Stereo systems (the old style with the tape deck, turntable, and 3ft tall speakers or wireless earbuds. Maybe the next OnePlus Buds Pro’s will convince me otherwise though…I’m always open to the possibility..I just haven’t found anything yet that’s comparable in terms of ANC, battery life, and most importantly Sound Quality. I’m not someone who cares enough about mic quality to have it be a make or break decision. I can always take the headphones out for the rare occasions I’m forced to talk to someone else haha yeah I’m the crotchety old disabled vet haha I don’t like people and I try to avoid conversations whenever possible that’s why I’m so glad I learned to text after I got my first cellphone when I was 20 years old after joined the military (cause in my old man’s words…”if you want cell phone so bad, go get a job and buy yourself one cause I goddamn sure ain’t payin for one!!” Haha gotta love those boomers….and yes he is part of the baby boomer generation).
