This is the solution for my short inseam and Orbea Wild FS with an obstruction placed in the post tube to prevent burn through during the welding manufacturing process. It is too bad one requires me to route their cable through the frame because no doubt that will be a nightmare. Thanks for sharing this vid , much appreciated. :-)

You can lower the lever by unscrewing the mmx on the bar and place the lever further down. No need for it to sit that high if you dislike it.

@@jedmtb Looks like the new Woldtooth Resolve is a solid option for highly engineered dropper post---only problem is the top end of the Resolve is 70g (or more) than the OneUp v2...even though I could lower a 200mm Resolve 20mm in my seat tube (currently running a 180mm OneUp), the added 70g+ of mass at the head-unit doesn't seem to offset the fact I lowered the post a measly 20mm. Their claim of having "mass lowered when post is dropped, WolfTooth Resolve is the best" or whatever the marketing told us. I'm a fan that it clicks on full up/down though.

Do you have issues lowering the post while riding? I cannot lower my post unless I remove my weight from the post first. I've tried torquing the seat post with a torque wrench but nothing I do resolves this...
@jedmtb
@jedmtb 4 года назад
Mine did it at first because I didn't leave enough slack on the cable in my frame and under compression it was pulling the cable too tight, if you can't get it working I'd consider contacting OneUp as their customer service is normally excellent.

I've ridden mine for a couple of months. Easy install, etc. I just began having an issue with it extending all the way. I'm going to try checking the air pressure by removing the seat to access the valve under the seat post head. One Up states it should be between 250 and 300 psi. Question: have you had any issues with it losing pressure?
@jedmtb
@jedmtb 4 года назад
Hi Jason, I haven't had any issues with my two posts yet, did you have any luck checking the pressure on yours?

@MaplePanda04
@MaplePanda04 3 года назад
@@jsniderhan Try unscrewing the seal collar and adding a little grease under it to help add extra lubrication. The side to side wiggle is normal and is not a problem.

I have been running original Cube post which I think is something like Brand-X and I don't have any side to side play when fully extended. However I had a crash just few days ago and the inner shaft moved inside the outer post shaft. I managed to straighten it back, but I assume maybe pins got damaged?
@jedmtb
@jedmtb 3 года назад
Worth checking the guide pins as they're normally made of soft brass.

After using the one up 210 mm dropper I will say that it is cheaply constructed with a poor sealing system that constantly needs lubrication. Spend the extra $100 and get a fox transfer.

Some bike brands will show the max post size on their website but most don't in which case you'll need to measure your frame. Here is a dimensions chart tinyurl.com/4xk5jy6r and a length selector tinyurl.com/bp8r2emd

Hello, i have the same exact dropper (180mm) and it has developed some noticable play over 4 months time approximately. It started off great with minor play which I couldn't notice while riding but now i can and it's pretty annoying. Also when it's fully extended and i get off the saddle while riding over roots/stones it sort of rumbles/make noise. Has anyone else experienced this and knows how to fix it? Thanks :)
