All what onitsha need now to match Barcelona is wide street inlock roads with road marks an high voltage street lights with good environmental cleaning services
You forget to add central underground drainage, with standard low level side walk, types they have in Cape Town n elsewhere in South Africa n London, standard street lights the types in Abuja or New York, get rid of those nonsense especially solar ones they mounting, have traffic/road signs everywhere, get rid of those nonsense traffic lights they have at some place n mount standard traffic lights at every junction n intersections, street cameras for security surveillance n designated places, get rid of okadas, keke n them tiny funny looking buses and introduce better city public numbered buses that will fly different routes with built standard bus stations, clean up them markets and build better one, get rid of street stalls and hawkings, there has to be system in place cos no system no country with orderliness
The government must regenerate Onitsha in the most robust manner. I suggest turning any available space in Fegge into a green space recreational centre for healthy living. Let the whole city of Onitsha be turned into a green space to support life and living. Living in Onitsha will be more appealing if pipe-borne water is reticulated to all the residential and commercial buildings with steady power supply. That's my wish for Onitsha.
@@henrypeterkin1 Do me a favor and Goigle New York and click on video. You guys should stop these useless comparisons. Abiriba is not small London. Aba is not the Hong Kong of Africa. Nnewi is not the Taiwan of Africa. Those countries are hundreds of years ahead of African countries.
@@longinusukenta which tribe are u first? Then try to fathom English, cause I said mini, I'm basically talking about how closely and densed the surrounding buildings look, just the Way new York is with it's many skyscrapers, so stop acting like a senseless being 🤡
@stevestyve1 If you Goigle New York city and watch the video, you will be ashamed of yourself for making such comments. You guys should stop insulting New York, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. Nowhere near in Igboland looks like those places.
@Anambra1st son, Old boy given the amount of positive response generated from the immense potentials of the great mega-city cum economic growth status of onitsha as a rising giant in the sun,can you kindly top this episode with the current update on both the ground and aerial coverage of the Anambra state house and Alex Ekwueme square. Thanks
I wonder why naija don’t have mayorship? Every city/town in naija need to have mayor who runs it for real. Onitsha and Aba and in fact all cities in naija need the inner city roads fixed with underground drainage, standard low level side walk the type they have in South Africa or London, green areas, trees/palm trees, flowers, get rid of keke/bikes and them funny looking tiny buses and develop standard city transport, numbered buses plying different routes, parks here and there, dredge edge of the river and build concrete pavement and have a beautiful water front and then have coastal road with only approve plan for high rises of 10 floor and above
Do you know that there is no place like this in any other part of Nigeria? All we lack is the federal government presence but those who have not been to the east will tell you that the place is not developed.
@@Southernview3k brother I didn't come home to gaslight anyone and there's no competition anywhere; we are all one and our territories belong to us no matter where you are located. Abia state may have something similar but cannot be compared with Onitsha; the type you could see in Abia state will be like Nnewi and not Onitsha.
looks like Barcelona in spain, only if it was well planned this could be Touristic. The Govt should plant trees, close all gutters with walkways and traffic lights, paint all Houses white , demolish bad structures and build multi storey car parks and green areas
Well said but I disagree with closing gutters, they need to reconstruct and have central underground drainage system n have beautiful low level side walk, type they have in Cape Town n elsewhere in South Africa n London. As for the color of houses, I agree, I love white and once every road is tarred to standard with side walk n green areas, that’ll curb dust
The plan is very Okay and unique. The only thing is that all the inland roads are so narrow. Imagine strategically imputing straight wide Germany standard inland roads on Onitsha. Beautiful. Nevertheless, Onitsha is Okay.
@Anambra1st son, my brother don't further cause the escalation of the on-going tribal bigotry in the country by highlighting this fegge aerial coverage of the General hospital construction.Anyways, thanks for this bomb shell.
@@longinusukentaHow many modern buildings have you developed? Do you think those buildings were government owned? Do you know how these areas would have been if there were FG's presence like we have in other regions? You are supposed to salute the doggedness of the average Igbo person and not spewing this rubbish you just posited.
While the construction of the general Hospital is a welcome development, considering that there was none before. However, am just wondering how that small hospital will service the humongous population that inhabits this area.
