Many people recommend the Clutch Battery Charger as it can fit in the MM+ case. However, the price is high for the mAh you get from it. so you are paying for the slim size. I normally recommend Anker as they make great power banks for the price. All of their power banks should work for the MM+. I suggest using one that has USB-A to USB-C and a good price point for you. I have not seen a lot of issues with the MM+ most were old reports about the original MM. However, just to play it safe using a bank that has a USB-A port and using a good USB-A to USB-C cable should make it safe. As the maximum amount of power that the USB Standard allows over normal Type-A is 7.5W, which is 5V at 1.5A.
Personally, I never install beta versions of anything but that's up to you. The update process is simple so I'd recommend waiting for the proper release.
Yeah, I totally understand this. I think some people are more willing to be on the cutting edge with a tradeoff of stability and some are not. No right answer here and just a personal choice.
Nope. This is just for Miyoo Mini and MM+. Garlic OS is the one for RG35XX and that has been feature-frozen. However, the creator of Garlic OS is working on 2.0, and that will eventually be available for the RG35XX. @@Sciaobenso If you made a backup of the Roms from the stock sdcard you can move those over to the Roms folder. If not, you will need to either go to Internet Archive and search for "Miyoo Mini Plus Stock SD card" to get a backup copy or search for one of the many collections like "Tiny Best Set Go" or "Done Set" also on Internet Archive.

ds emulator works better but with issues in single screen
@@PhyrexTechs nvm i got it to work but the other issue is while trying to map other buttons on the ds it seemed like i chose the wrong ones which made the emulator basically useless because i cant navigate in the options menu to reset default settings so, how do i access options for the ds emulator without exactly using the emulator itself and opening its options because then again the dpad is useless because i mapped it to something else and that "something else" didnt worked

You can try refreshing the roms from the NDS games list by hitting Y or refreshing roms from the system selection screen hitting select. If you have tried both of those. You can remove the NDS folder altogether and use Package Manager to remove and re-add Drastic.
Since this is still beta, what are the implications of using beta? Will this (likely) become more than beta in the future when we run the update again on the miyoo?
The Onion OS team releases the beta when they have fixed all known major issues from adding new features. During the beta people get to use new features but accept that bugs will still exist and this also helps the developers find and fix bugs faster. Next, the Dev team will put out an RC(Release Candidate) that will fix the known bugs from the beta and will be more stable. The RC allows the Dev team to catch any bugs that might have arisen from the fixes. Finally, when satisfied with the stability and fixes of the RC a full release will be made. During all of these updates, the OTA update tool can be used to update to the newest version. So you can update from beta to RC then RC to full release when they come out. You can choose to jump into the beta, wait for the RC, or even wait for the full release. This will depend on how much stability matters vs how much value the new features add to your experience.
After I had updated Onion OS beta through wifi on Miyoo, all of the files on SD became invisible and I couldn't see any folders on Mac, but I'm pretty sure everything is there when I load the SD back into Miyoo.
Hmm, not sure about this. I did not have the standalone app installed on 4.2.3. maybe someone else can chime in if they know if there are any differences or updates. I'll update this if I hear anything.
Did they add microphone support to this version of the drastic emulator ?As certain ds games uses the ds microphone, as without it they are unplayable.
I really like playing nds games on my miyoo mini plus. Should I get the update or should I wait for the official realease? PS: I am really new to this whole emulation world etc. :)
So far I have not run into any major bugs. However, that doesn't mean you won't. Others here have posted some issues they have had. So it kinda depends on if you require a stable experience or if you mind the chance of something happening that requires you to maybe reinstall Onion OS. If you back up your save data and ROMs then there is not too much risk other than the time to reinstall it you run into issues.

I updated to this last night OTA but having loads of issues now - NDS games not saving, save states not working, attempting to quit the drastic emulator always freezes the MM and so I have to turn off and back on. So I want to reinstall the 4.2.3 stable. I’ve read I can simply delete the onion os files and add the 4.2.3, but not sure which ones I need to delete? Thanks!
I have not tried that way myself so I'm not sure. Honestly to avoid issues I would recommend just backing up you Saves folder and Roms folder, reformatting the SD card and just install 4.2.3 then move your Saves and Roms folders back on.
The only Mame cores that come with Onion OS by default are 2000, 2003-Plus , and 2003-xtreme. I think I saw someone post on r/MiyooMini that they made a 2010 version for the MIyoo however I have never tested it myself. I normally use FB Neo for my arcade games as I like to use Retro achievements.

Hello there, I seem to have problems with the Amiga miyoo mini + games as most dont have the right button mapping and i dont seem to find the right information how to fix it as many on reddit seem to have the same problem. Do you have any suggestions?
OK, so I got some games installed and tried them out and it seems to be working for me. What game are you trying to play and what kind of button mapping issue are you running into.
I need help , When, for example, I'm playing Pokemon Black and in a certain part of the game it doesn't load and stays black, is there anything I can do?
I have heard of Pokemon Black having issues with DraStic when loading quick saves. Not sure if that is the issue here but some people have worked around it by only using the in game save. Try saving then loading the in game save and see if it still does it.
@@PhyrexTechs thanks , I have another situation in Pokémon black 2 in one specific part of the game I need to go to one place and when I get in the screens turn black and says “ha ocurrido un error por favor reinicie la consola” so even if I restart again and again
Definitely a step back from playing on the original system for sure. Some games really only use 1 screen and those are fine to play. If you don't mind learning and using some hotkeys a decent amount of games open up. A dual screen clam shell would be awesome for sure.

If you back up your save data and ROMs then there is not too much risk other than the time to reinstall it you run into issues. Another factor is how much you want the DS and Pico 8 Splore features.
Yikes. They don't have great WiFi signal strength. Getting closer to your router will help out most of the time. Mine took under 10 minutes. If it was gonna take 5 hours I would just go with the manual SD card reader process. I hope it sped up for you.
