Hello I follow you for a long time and I love your cave, I bought a yamaha rx-a3070 at the end but when I heard so good about a previous one as onkyo I wonder if I should not have waited for a previous / stage. I wanted to know if in your cinema configuration you have all the speakers in the room configured in small and cut to 80hz or just the satellites. Keep making us enjoy your room, a pity not being able to see it in person. a very strong hug from Spain.

I just purchased the exact unit and I mated it with a Monolith 7X connected with XLR cables. I watched your video probably 6 times and I gotta say, you helped my decision to upgrade my PR-SC885 to this newer model. Honestly, like you mentioned in your video...the difference was just unbelievable!! I only purchased it so I can enjoy the benefits of my new OPPO UDP203 and my Samsung Q6 82" TV and use the 4K and HDR pass through as well as ATMOS and DTS-X that the older processor didn't offer. I wasn't expecting any difference in sound but like you, I was blown away. Just amazing! Do you cool yours? I run two 4" AC Infinity fans controlled by my AC Infinity T10 fan module on top of my amp. My old ONKYO never got hot from the day I had it and I don't know ( I personally never experienced it ) if ONKYO still has issues with their HDMI boards overheating and frying out. Since you like gadgets, a cooling system perhaps is something you might like to look into. Also, you can purchase XLR to RCA cables from Monoprice ( no funky adapters). They are built well and look nice ( though like you mentioned, no discernible sound difference ). I'll be getting the ONKYO M5010 soon for my height speakers. You cant go wrong with onkyo. I would love to hear terminator 2 on your system espically the truck scene where he drives of the bridge,Hope to hear a demo!!!!

hi, i'm looking for a preamp/processor for my two emotiva's power amps, 5 channel each, but EACH amp needs at least 1.5 volts from the preamp/processor's pre outs to work at its full rated power. my question is, can the onkyo pr-rz5100 preamp/processor provides the 1.5 volts to each emotiva's power amp? can i divide the 11 channels from the onkyo pr-rz5100 into two power amps (5 channel each amp) without any problem? i really need to find a good preamp/processor for my two emotiva's power amps.

Hey i was watching your video it was awesome.. Make the 2 of us really like this onkyo preamp. My main power amp is a 7 channel emotiva monoblock 300watts [per channel. and of course my preamp is this onkyo prz5100. I have a question maybe you can help me. i wanted to add 2 klipsch shelf speakers but i dont have any more ways where to put it on my emotiva. Should i get another power amp say 2 channel? but how can i connect that to onkyp prz5100 preamp using xlr input. MOst of the 2 channel amp i saw dont have xlr imputs.. how can i do that>? . i biamp my 2 front klipsch rf82's and i have 2 surround, 1 center.. that makes 7 channel already..
