May I add a comment? The belt your using to replace the old one is not the right one! This machine takes a flat belt! I know this because I owned one long ago and replaced the belt a few times! Just helping out!!
Thank you. Yes, I do need to buy a flat belt. This belt is installed temporarily just to test the assembly. I will order a proper flat belt and replace it. And will get the whole assembly cleaned up and lubed while at it.
