im pretty sure i was groomed last night, bc this sounds a lot like what happened to me. he's 5 years older than me (im 15) and he found me through a mental health sub on reddit. blocked him, but holy shit that was not fun at all. he didn't ask for anything, but asked s3xual questions and such, even though im both asexual and a minor
@DUTCHE77 yeah, it sucks. Thankfully I'm doing a lot better now, and I've talked about the incident with my therapist. I still get anxious when I get messages from random people, but I usually ignore them
Hey Janelle. This must be so tough, I can't imagine how afraid you may be feeling. Just wanted to remind you that you are not to blame. and you parents will understand that. Your mind may be telling you all the worst case scenarios right now which is normal, especially if your groomer has made you feel afraid, but the absolute best thing you can do is to tell your parents. They are not going to judge you. Yeah it might be tough to be honest, they might be shocked (because they can't imagine a life where you're not safe!), but ultimately they would want to know the truth, so that they can care for you and help you figure out the best steps forward. Im so sorry that you are going through this. But there is help! And you don't have to stay in this awful situation forever. You are brave. And bravery can look like asking for help. And just like they said in this video - don't feel guilty to cut all contact with this person who has hurt you.

I'm watching today because last night, me and my partner may have found out a trusted individual in my online life may have been grooming me/a predator. They have sent countless NSFW images to me and have made dirty jokes abt me correlated with said images. Worst thing, they are in a relationship with one of our really great friends and are a powerful influence in our group, so this puts in an extremely tough position. We are trying to work it out but for now I am doing research to see if our concerns are real. If there is anything you can help w/, advice etc, please do say so.

As society all votes count. 3. When you try to fix the issue, hard penalties works to reduce the problem. Soft penalties is like a joke for criminals. 4. Dude…it’s really hard to do that when you look up to them and trust them the person doesn’t want p to believe that their a groomer and in turn they might blame themselves
When someone manipulates you and makes you trust/believe them you will be hesitant to block them and sometimes you won’t realise it only after it’s too late
