Our apartment in Kuala Lumpur came with spectacular views of the Malaysian capital's iconic city skyline.
It was a great way to ease ourselves into the travel lifestyle as our adventure across south east Asia gets into full flow.

We enjoyed the 35th floor infinity pool and immersed ourself in day-to-day life in Kuala Lumpur.
Travelling around on the monorail and metro network, we visited the Petaling Street Market and tried Asian street food for the first time ever in Bukit Bintang!
We also checked out the Petronas Twin Towers, the world's second tallest building (Merdeka 118), KLCC Park and had to sort some travel vaccinations (we're so glad we did this in Malaysia because it was WAY cheaper).
