Finally, I introduced the ramly burger to my Korean friends. Beef patty and various sauces wrapped in egg. There is no better street food than this! The Malaysian & Singaporean food experience of Korean friends continues. - Haru Abang
Milo is originally from Australia but it became famous and made big in Malaysia 😁 some even say Malaysian Milo tastes better from Milo in another country, i dunno just saying what i heard
Malays, Chinese & Indians are just the 3 main ethnic groups in Peninsula (West) Malaysia. Orang Asli are the natives in the Peninsula and they comprise of the Negritos, Senois & Proto Malays. For East Malaysia, which is on Borneo Island, Sabah has 32 ethnic groups & Sarawak has 27 so ya, we are multiracial/multicultural😊 Anyway, if the patties are wrapped in egg, it usually means it's a "special" and we can also add cheese.✌😁
Yep. Overseas people would just assume Malaysia has 3 races - Malay, Indian and Chinese but in actuality there is close to a hundred of different races and ethnicity in Malaysia who all contributed to the founding of the nation!
@@juzloopz24 yes..and they will not believe when we said..other than chinese and indian..all types are malay, just group divide them, some polynesian malay, austronesian malay, proto malay etc.
Hello, I'm Peter. First of all, I apologize for not using the correct patties and milo flour. The first was that I couldn't find a ramly patty in Korea, so I looked at the internet recipe and cooked it myself. But as you said, it wasn't ramly burgerful enough, so I was very disappointed. Next time, I'll definitely make a video introducing a real patty! Also, I apologize for not distinguishing between the meadow brand and the nestle brand. When I visited Malaysia for a while, I thought that the green chocolate powder I bought in a hurry was of course Milo, but I found out after reading the comments. I'll pay more attention next time. thank you for your attention. I'll come back with a better video. have a good day.
@@haru_abang You did good, sometime mistakes happen. Keep thriving forward ! P/S: I think you should open a homemade burger restaurant with that kind of reaction from your friend xD
@@haru_abang your friends and you are welcome to Malaysia. Let's try the authentic Malaysian dishes that consist of Chinese, Malays, Indians, Orang Asli & other ethnicities dishes. SEDAP!
Your Ramly burger looks yummy but dude you just missed few things. There are 3 key points of typical Malaysia's Ramly burger 1. The frozen patty must be from the Ramly Brand itself. If use other patty we don't call it as Ramly burger. 2. Sloppy & saucy, it's malaysian way to enjoy the burger. Usually they will put a lot and different type of sauces/condiments together such mayonnaise, chilli sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper sauce, maggi seasoning sauce, curry powder, white/black pepper in single burger. 3. Wrap with egg (optional, we called this Burger Special example "Burger Ramly Chicken Special" then it will be wrapped with egg).
hello! Thanks for letting me know about the proper Ramly Burger! I wanted to make the burger you mentioned and introduce it to my Korean friends. However, I couldn't find a ramly burger patty,(In fact, it is very difficult to find Malaysian ingredients in Korea.) so I made my own patties using an internet recipe. I apologize for not making the exact burger and not letting you know. Next time, I will somehow airlift a real patty and make a video again.
@@haru_abang It's okay. I'm just letting you know some info abt Ramly burger. My apologise if any of my words have had offended you. No worries. Ramly will sure sponsor you some patties after this bcs of your effort to introduce malaysian foods to Koreans/worldwide. Just like some brands like Maggi & Babas did to other foreign RU-vidrs. No doubt that your homemade patty is delicious too, your friends like it. ✌️
@@haru_abang you just import la from malaysia..ramly patty and maggi brand like chili and tomato souce, maggi seasoning. Baru la ngam rasa malaysia.. Hahaha
Your friend is correct , after sport activities drink Milo !! Just like my school sport day , after running running, drink milo ice .. the feeling , is just another level
Finally..yeahh...so happy see rection they like Malaysia Ramly Burger,Milo... Give they try Char Kuey Teaw,Malaysian fruits,Roti Canai,Murtabak..or anything Malaysia food..so i everyday wait your new video...
Glad to see they like all of it and thanks for the chef great cooking skill. Usually we eat ramly burger during late night after dinner. More like supper. Can't wait for the next food. I suggest to try rendang and lemang/ketupat next time. But to cook that is a bit hard and time consuming. ❤️ from 🇲🇾
It's fun to see them enjoying Malaysian food as much as we enjoy Korean food here. I recommend for them to try Murtabak and Roti Jala (with curry to dip)
10:25 wow that's actually pretty expensive for ramly burger😂😂 usually ramly burger just cost RM2.5 for regular and RM3-RM4 for special one😂 less than 1000won
The person is not using milo to introduce milo, and not using ramly burger to introduce ramly burger. I wont say well informed.. the taste would be totally different
That's not Milo it's Meadows brand, I think they taste different? Also how was the milo drink made? In Singapore and Malaysia milo drinks are made with the milo powder+condensed milk and you would need to add more milo powder as it looks a little lighter in colour there LOL. As a kid, we grow up eating it in various ways. With sliced bread spread with condensed milk and sprinkle milo powder on top, we eat it with ice cream and also eat it straight up from the tin. Your ramly burger looks restaurant style, the meat patty is very premium hahahaha! To me the essential ingredients for this burger is maggi seasoning. I'm guessing Koreans don't use this sauce and cannot identify the taste of it. We pronounced it "rarmly" not the like English word ram ya. In Malaysia you would be left with a pair of greasy messy hands after eating it as it will have a lot of sauce and planta. I think to the benefit of your tasters and viewers who don't know, you need to explain that what you gave them is not Milo and not ramly burger. Ramly burger has their own patties and they use lots of different sauces no fancy buns etc
*For those who don't know yet* : Ramly Food Processing Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Perusahaan Burger Ramly Mokni Sdn Bhd) is a Malaysian frozen and fast food company. The company was founded by Dato’ Dr. Haji Ramly Mokni and Datin Hajjah Shala Siah Abdul Manap in 1984, with the aim of developing a clean and good-quality halal Western fast-food chain in Malaysia. Ramly started a business selling burgers with his wife from street food stalls in 1979. While working as a butcher in a market, he discovered that it is unknown whether most fresh-meat sources were halal or not, leading to Ramly's decision to produce a halal-certified meat source, hygienic and quality products for all Muslim and non Muslim consumers in Malaysia. They also have a chain of fast food restaurants but not as many as McDonalds restaurants.
Your editing of NyeongWoo eating Ramly burger with the lion sound is so funny 👍. Just my personal opinion here, for me, I'd prefer my milo with less milk. Then, can enjoy the Milo 😋
Thank you for introducing malaysia favourite milo and ramly burger to them..next time you can try to cook roti john and satay with peanut sauce...milo is definitely the famous drink in malaysia but i love to mix it with nescaffe(one type of the coffee brand) + condensed milk...this mixed drink we call it "neslo"/malaysian version of mocha...you can google to know more about it...
Malaysian generally enjoy burger from big brand such as mcdonald/burger king. Ramly Burger is especially famous because the brand provide good burger patties and it is accessible to street vendors. Normally if we want quick bite at night we will look for burger stalls. Personally I loved Ramly Brand, the burger, nuggets, or potato product are all delicious. You can buy their product to cook at home or to sell and in fact ramly burger has their own fast food chain.
The fundamental of Ramly burger: You must use 'Ramly' brand burger patties ( usually they sold chicken or beef unless you went to ramly store itself which sell more Ramly brand products, it must be sloppy with sauce ( chilli, black pepper, mayonnaise), must use seasoning eg: lea a perrins or maggi seasoning + ajishio . this is basically how street ramly burger usually made
If you come to Malaysia you can buy ramly patty burger at supermarket, mini mart and frozen store..u can cook at home with fryer or pan and deep with chili sause or mayonise like snack
Milo is from Nestlé company. It once from England and I don't know since when Malaysia bought that company😅. Why milo taste like supplement because this drink is suitable for everything. If you work out sleeping or anything. Means that anyone at any age with any work can enjoy drinking this without a problem
for me, Ramly Burger is more like a late-night snack. You can just suddenly feel the craving for it at 11pm or so and just go find it somewhere along the street. It's very good, especially when a pregnant woman suddenly craves for it in the mid of the night lmao😭
back in the 90's,the owner of ramly burger, ramly envisioned a street food affordable burger that can be brought from all economic class..hence the ramly burger.. over the years, ramly burger is like the mcd of malaysia, instead of the world market,it targeted the street vendor/hawker to do small business.. personally for me,ramly burger is special due to as haru abang said, different recipes according to the chef.. there's no standard of cooking, preping the burger like mcd, kfc, burger where the taste is the same on every outlet vs ramly burger ,if u go to 10 different burger ramly stall,u will get mostly 10 different taste of the burger according the chef to prep it.. for haru abang burger, congrats they like your recipe even though u copy from the internet, but the cooking is different stories.. so this is haru abang ramly burger version ..same goes to milo, different hand preping it,diff taste it will be.. maybe high % will goes to same the same recipe to the chef written for it..
Its called ramly burger because usually the ingredient to make this is burger is from ramly brand. I also remembered that I had learn about the stories of Ramly the founder of this brand from malaysian standard textbook from my time in school, that shows how big the impact of ramly brand to malaysian.
it's not that Ramly Burger has a certain way to make.. since everyone who sells it will make it their own way.. but the one that i like and the usual way of making is we drench it with a lot of sauces (mayo, chili sauce, bbq sauce) the bread has butter spread on it both side and is pressed down when cooking then assemble it and bon a petit
the big difference between ramly burger and other burgers is the flavor of the meat made by the ramly company...and also the kichup sauce made by maggie ..
Actually RM 3 - 6 depends on what kind of burger you ordered if you just ordered beef without any extra patty or cheese the price just remains the same which is RM3 but for special like added cheese or extra patty it could be around RM6..
You wrapped with egg because its "special meat burger", u can add slice cheese too. You can make the normal burger without the egg wrapper or cheese. Depend on menu.
if 20$ in Korea it will be reasonable, prices in everything freindships is the main thing, glad to see their happiness 😊,find a way how to make people happy in this world eventhough we can't satisfy everybody...🤝
Harga makanan di korea berubah ikut musim... tiba musim salji dikorea harga makanan sgt mahal dibnding musim lain... so yg nk berjalan ke korea untuk winter kene ade bajet lebih skit... 😆
