You can be in a "state of flow" in less than 5 minutes. Meditation is a prime way to train oneself to enter flow.

It made sense to me. I've experienced the flow state numerous times in my life. Some triggered by physical activity and others triggered by mental challenges. It's really wonderful. Be great to turn it on at will.

It made sense to me, also! I’ve been using these principles during my entire teaching life, without knowing about the flow state, but being used to the terminology of the ancestral sages. It’s good to know about the interest manifested by scholars on the subject.

@@HandMadeWrathZen and the Art of Archery written by Eugen Herigel. Not a long book, about 80 some pages long..... I've used it with my golf students and a few of my piano student. I have experienced "flow" when playing golf, playing the piano and even working as a cashier!! Zen and the Art of Archery describes how "a student" is taught to become a master at archery ....not realizing it!!! Very good introductory book. Happy reading!! Miss Monique
