meimei: “mom if you’re watching this just click off because you’re gonna get upset because i know you don’t like when things are expensive” mom: “i want ALL the toppings”
Living in Taiwan, the most I've ever spent on a boba drink was 75NTD (2.70$US) and the average drink costs me 40NTD (1.40$USD), this video hurts real bad 😫 I'll be waiting for you to come back 🥺
I love your video's meimei! You always make want boba tea. You actually inspired me to try make my own boba tea with cheese foam for the first time the other day. :)
@@jamesalexander4538 Cheese foam goes with almost everything when it comes to boba tea. Brown sugar would actually taste good with cheese foam added as a topping.
Omg hiiii! I love watching you and your videos! I’m going to school in the city and I watch your videos for recommendations!! Thank you for all the delicious boba and popcorn chicken recommendations!
I live in finland, and boba is quite rare here. Most bubble tea drinks cost around 6-7 € (8,5 $). And they're usually VERY small. So with all respect, you should be happy to get huge boba drinks like that, for only 6 dollars.
That first location seemed adorable and the drinks looked good! The one with the star jelly looked so so pretty and completely different once you mixed it. Yeah they definitely should've put more cheese foam lol It has such a nice color because of the dragon fruit. The ending is always so funny😅 Great job with this video, really hope there's a part 2.🤞🏻
I’m actually shocked by these prices😳In Switzerland a small classic brown sugar is like 9$…. and your last drink would probably cost like 18 or 20… thats insane😱
I honestly think all the drinks you tried except the last one in this video are the average price of more premium boba brands here in Australia (already calculated in AUD). So I wasn’t too shocked when seeing the prices haha Until I saw the last one is $10 then I was shocked 😂
5:38 AHAHAHA I don’t know why I keep replaying this clip, but it’s hilarious to see that little onion/meat F L Y out of the bowl and your eyes drop down right as it cuts the clip LOOOL I DONT KNOW WHY THIS IS SO FUNNY
I live in Canada and rarely go to boba places cause they're all expensive to me so I'm not sure what's a decent price but I bought a black milk tea with no boba and a taro milk tea with pudding last week and paid $13 😭😭😭
I have a list on my phone of places (especially boba places) to try after watching feedmeimei videos...rip my wallet after this video 😭 Thank you for the wonderful content, and for including some of the bloopers at the end!!
When I first found one of meimei's videos , whilst searching for how to make bubble tea / boba drinks , I got obsessed with all her boba videos , now every day I cannot stop watching them.
OMG I FEEL SO LOVED ❤️ thank you for the shoutout! The first two bbt looks SO good. Those would be my go-to if I lived in SF. Our most expensive bbt in Vancouver @ Machi Machi which is CAD $10 and we complain about it so I can’t believe you ordered that dragonfruit slush! Love your videos 🤪
$10.40 for a boba drink is definitely expensive! I think the most expensive boba drink I’ve had is around $6 to $8. Although, if you were to compare it to those who order through door dash or any eating delivery service app, boba drinks + tax + delivery fee + idk what other fee there is = costs about like a total of $20 to like $30 depending on distance and location (that’s just 1 or 2 drinks). Side note: You’re the only one that got me into urban ritual drinks and I like it more than boba guys.
Early gangggg, I got some boba today before this! Mei mei would you consider doing a trying every pho or banh mi In San Francisco? Those are my favorites
@@feedmeimei you should try one pho shop every day! That way you aren’t sick of pho all in one day! Spreading it out and just combining the recordings will do well!! :D
a sunright tea studio opened in little tokyo, la and its on my list of boba places i wanted to order from first thing when i get back to so cal from college next week, so glad to see you have enjoyed it!
Can you please show us how to make the dragon fruit drink at home? I haven't seen any dragon fruits bbt in our area yet. Thank you!! This was a very entertaining video.
I tend to stay away from foam drinks, and over the years, gravitated more to fruit teas than milk tea drinks. Also, haven't been to Gong Cha in a while. If there's any consolation, your pick to go there, and their current expensive drink is really appealing, makes me want to try. The colors are pretty and even with the foam, it looks very enticing. Good job.
Whenever I pick up lunch at that Safeway next to Sunright, there's always a bunch of people waiting outside. Now it looks like there might be MORE people now cause of this video. Also, OMG, you went to Paik's! I love that place!
Hahaha omg I’ve only gone to Sunright twice but there’s always lots of people! At least they have online ordering though so you can order ahead hehe. And yesss Paiks is so good!!!!
Gasped when you said you don't really like grapefruit... 😱😱 Hahaha its not just my favourite fruit, its my most favourite food. Ever! I would have ordered that drink but without the cheese foam! 😍 Loved all the interesting flavours, thank you for sharing!
Omggggg it is sooo funny! I also got black been noodle and boba today as dinner with my friend and now I just came back home and watching your video! Just realized that we ate the same things such a funny coincidence!!! Great food combo and great video as always!!!! 💕💕💕 Also the most expensive boba I got one time was 8$? 🤔 and of course, I would love to see part 2! 🥰
hey i love your videos! I saw your TikTok of ube latte with taro boba, I was just wondering what your recipe for it was? also random suggestion have you heard of boba PANCAKES(viral from taiwan)? it sounds like a fun experiment to try. also those noodles look soooo good. love your work!
Hey! Super new to your channel! So glad I found you. I am loving it so far! I don’t know if you have done this. But I was winding if you could do best fried rice in your area! Also. Thanks for being so clean in your videos!!!
Sunright is great! Good choice adding that to the list. My wife and I are heading to the bay next week. Hitting up boba bliss and urban ritual for sure.
Love your videos 😍 they are so positive 😊 But I got a burning question: What are you doing with all these fancy cups? Is there a way to return them or do you just dispose them?
Love gong cha! I’m literally drinking one of their boba drinks right now! I got the brown sugar milk tea with extra boba cuz ya know boba lol.. I just recently found your channel and love your videos, I’m obsessed now! I live pretty close to San Francisco and now I just want to go there and try all the boba places lol!
Yay! You must be broke now 😅. I have been wondering why they call them “toppings” and not “add-ons” or “enhancements”. The “toppings” are usually on the bottom of the drink! 😂
Went and got some boba pearls at our local Chinese supermarket today . Made your brown sugar boba recipe from your previous video . Delicious 😍😍😍 🙌🏻 😋🤤
i am so sorry abt how late i am!! i have a drink recommendation for tan-cha! i went there once when i was in irvine and they had this like brown sugar latte with boba and it was soooo good!! hope u enjoy
