Dont be hard on yourself hannah, im 36 and my dad was a heating engineer, not once in my life have i ever thought about boiler servicing! Glad youre ok after all that 🧡 loving you and your fella vibing together too, you both crack me up 🤣
I'm the same, my Dad's a heating engineer and I literally just learned how to turn a boiler on a couple of weeks ago after being alone in my flat for the first time. Boyfriend or Dad usually deals with it, why would I know🤷🏼♀😂😂
Hi Hannah, it’s normal that from time to time you feel a little bit down and it happens to all of us; I’m sure it will go away in a couple of days🤗 As soon as you start to sleep better, you will feel much better, you will see! Anyway, I’m sure that everything, including the boiler thingy will sort out and you’ll be very very OK again! Great and fun video and a huge hug from Spain🥰
I’m nearly 27 and bought a house 2 years ago. My parents never said anything about getting the boiler serviced and I was telling them about someone else who had boiler trouble and they said “oh yes you’re supposed to have it serviced every year” but they’d never said anything before! How are we supposed to know these things unless someone tells us even as adults? 😅
I moved to my new house in March this year too! Boiler was one of the first things we had to do and it cost us £2700!!! (We had it moved etcetc) in terms of your doors, try painting them yourself white first! Or if that’s seems too longer task not get them professionally paninted- that will still cost you less!
Girl I understand the panicking about the carbon monoxide thing! If that had happened to me I definitely would've been pacing outside in the dead of night 😂
I’m fairly new to your channel and I think you have such a likeable personality! Sorry to hear about the carbon monoxide situation as well! I’ve been in exactly the same situation and panicked myself 😆
Bless you about the boiler, I have boiler cover through British Gas you don’t need to be a British Gas customer either & it covers my yearly boiler service too as well as breakdowns & parts I definitely recommend it & worth looking into xXx
Sometimes in life there is no "reason" for feeling the way you do. It could be a combination of different things, the stress of the boiler and various other things could be playing on your mind (understandably). The world's a scary and unpredictable place at the minute so don't beat yourself up for the way yoh feel han ♥️ be kind to yourself & try and do a little bit of self care if you can xx
Literally just went to my husband 6mins in & said do we get it serviced and he's like nope & I'm like right let's go test the carbon monoxide detector (but after I've watched this 🤦🏼♀️🤣🤷🏼♀️) XX
God it must be one of those weeks about boilers etc! Our boiler broke and we had no heating for 48 hours when it's-3 outside at points! 🥶 and 2 young children and they didn't consider it an emergency! But that sounds so scary about the carbon dioxide problem! I'd be panicking 😬.Hope you get your dilemma sorted soon, and we've been trying to have 1-2 meat free/ vegan meals a week 😋 and its going well! Hope the rest of your week gets better 🤍🤍🤍
Hey lovely, bad times bless you. Sending positive vibes your way for the rest of Jan to get better for you 😀 With regards to your house/flat: Annual boiler service, can also be called an LGSR Most new boilers now will come with an extended warranty up to 5 years, make sure you register it and take advantage of that with spending so much getting a new one. You should also have 12 months fitting warranty from contractor undertaking the works. Smoke detection, you would preferably want LD2 protection (any good electrician will know what that is, preferably hard wired and house coded) with a heat detector in your kitchen. These should all be checked annually with your carbon monoxide detector, when your boiler service is undertaken. Adulting is a minefield! 🥴😩
Omg I'd have been crying my eyes out if that happened to me in the middle of the night ahahha! Aw girl don't worry we all still learning, I'm 27 & wonder how I've got this far through life sometimes! P.S - You & your boyf are SO CUTE. Love the banter you have!!
We have a carbon monoxide alarm definitely worth it our boiler and oven malfunctioned when I was twelve we had them removed and only replaced the oven we live without the boiler and rely on the kettle and shower for hot water too much to replace for us to make it worth it when there's bills to pay so glad you're ok fab to see what new vegan bits you found to try I love anything cherry! ☺️💖
Loved watching your channel Hannah don’t beat yourself up a the alarms 🚨 going off I had to call my dad once because my fire alarm went off and wouldn’t stop ended up having to take it apart and get the engineer out to look at and he said it was an old alarm and had to replace it with a new one . X❤️❤️❤️
My mums boiler broke a couple of years ago the one week I came home from uni! I had to lend her the money and we had to wait a week for a replacement 😅
Not sure if this is the same thing as having your boiler serviced but I know once a year your supposed to have a gas safety check done too just incase you didn't know... x
Love your videos Hannah, and also loving how well matched you and your boyfriend seem! He seems so supportive for you too. Ps vegan nuggets form BK are VILE
I’m still waiting to exchange on my flat and I’ve been thinking about the boiler prior to this video. It’s a sign. I’m sure it was said it would be due in January ;) for sure I’m firing off an email before I own the place to see if the seller needs to be reservicing ;) glad you’re okay Han
Girl don’t worry about the boiler! I literally accidentally left something in the oven, it caught on fire, I called the fire department and it went out quickly and no damage was done but I may have to replace the oven and I rent this place and I’m so embarrassed and feel so dumb 😭
When I was turning vegan it took me months to get off cheese, then when I stopped i didnt jump to the alternatives but after a while its like I forgot what cheese tasted like, so vegan cheese tasted alright and now vegan cheese is normal to me, if i have a bite of cow cheese now it doesnt taste of much! xx
If your solicitor didn’t point out to you the fact that boiler hasn’t been serviced recently they are very naughty! One of the main things they should mention!
