First time I meet my wife I was going door to door to deliver pamphlets and al kind of promotional printed material, I was working 12h+ a day, also working on an off in construction. I am in Marketing, and I make a lot more, that never once bothered me, but I can see how it would bother him, and one day he asked why I stay knowing that he isn't going to provide financially like I will, and simply put, I don't see a price tag on my best friends unconditional love for me. I don't need a diamond ring, or a car, or anything tangible. So long as he loves me and can balance being my best friend and the love of my life, I can never put a price on a life like that. When I met my husband he was studying and driving a truck for cash in hand. Barely making the rent, with only a bed and computer to his name. We built a life together. We have travelled extensively, have a beautiful house and life with many wonderful shared experiences as well as having someone there to stand by when we weathered the storms. All it cost me was the low price of my 20s. A very worthwhile investment. I gave him my love, loyalty and respect in my prime because I saw him for all he was and all her could be. Now I have a man who if we met today as we both are now, he’d be out of my league. He laughs and says no way when I tell him that, but I know it’s true.

Facts....my wife worked at a carnival,was addicted to meth when i met her....i was a broke ass rave promoter sleeping on her uncles couch....here we are 9 yrs later with 2 kids, one on the way, got our own apartment. She made me feel loved, cared for, and respected. I treat her like a fucking queen. I work as independent contractor during the day, she works as a cashier at the gas station at night. I cook and bring her dinner EVERY night ( as well as who ever she is on shoft with.) We make it work, we NEVER fight/argue, and we are madly in love.
