I miss the joy that Harry pulled out of Zayn. You’re right, at first just being with the boys made Zayn happy, but finally only Harry could do it, it seems. Harry found his again on HSLOT, but Zayn needs someone like Harry to help him find joy. I just wish they could be friends again, that Harry could want to bring that happiness to Zayn, and that Zayn could accept it from Harry. 😭

I kinda think his lack of energy and pumped up attitude was because of his eating disorder, cuz when you don't eat for a while your body can cramp up easily not to mention lack of protein, causing your body to overall try to savor energy. But I think Harry gave him the motivation to do it even if it only lasted a few seconds
I think Zayn was closest to Harry in the band. They have shared so many beautiful moments together. And thats the reason, to ease the pain, he had said that he and Harry never really spoke. And also, whenever Zayn was mentioned, Harry would either make a joke or go off topic... In one of the concerts after Zayn left, Harry even left space for Zayn in between him and Niall, and then, perhaps remembered Zayn is not there anymore, and Niall tried to awkwardly cover the space, and later, Harry scooted over to Niall. All these proves that Zayn and Harry were actually the closest. And I like to believe that even to this day, they keep in touch with one another, even if not best friends, anymore. And I love Zarry so much, not as a romantic relationship but as pure friendship.

Thank you, there is a concert of theirs i watched and it must have been one of Zayn´s bad days because their entire set-list was done with him so moody,sulky, clearly unhappy, he didn´t even say a single thing in between. The only thing he did was sing hip parts in the songs and that`s it. Then towards the end , i think they had like two songs left, Harry who had been doing his thing and for some reason hadn´t played with Zayn all evening walked up to him and whispered God knows what in Zayn´s ear, all of the sudden it was as if Zayn became a new man, he brightened up and the last two songs were more joyful, he had a full on smile on his face. I hope i find the link again so i can recommend it. It stuck in my head until now when i saw your video.
