Everyone's talking about how Zayn said they weren't close and people have theories. Here's mine: I think Zayn said that bc it really hurt to leave Harry. So he tried to downplay it as much as possible. Bc obviously they were somewhat close. And Harry always tried to change to subject or at least lighten the mood with a joke when Zayn was brought up. I don't think it was bc he was glad he left and he didn't want to talk about him anymore. I think it was the opposite. Z and Harry were clearly close. Platonic or not. So I think it just hurt to mention Z at all.

Krifi Khouloud I'm not saying Zayn didn't get hurt. I know Zayn is hurting based on the interview when he said he didnt even wanted to be in the bad. Who knows? Maybe his management made him do that. Harry was the one who got hurt the most out of all the other boys. (Liam, louis, niall) I said 'the most'. Because Harry was the one who didnt want to talk about him and seemed uncomfortable whenever an interviewer mentions Zayn, and he seeemed bitter whenever he was asked about Zayn. Bitteness forms when a person got hurt. I'm not saying I know anything about them. I'm just stating the facts based on what I see. Knowing them for how many years is enough to know if the boys are lying or not.

i think he said it to make it better for him to leave harry. they were like brothers to eachother and it might have made it easier to leave if he convinced himself that they weren’t good friends
They were my favorite duo back in the days. I just felt that Zayn was actually protective and respectful to Harry (in a sense that he listens well to what he says). I adored their friendship. It sucks that Zayn said they never reallly talked that much. I think that's bullshit. I hope time would heal their fallout.

Zayn and Harry just seem to dislike each other currently, not in the past. 2013 was a great year for Zarry shippers. Zayn in the past, 'You're not a womanizer, you're a good guy! I know the real you.' Now, 'we were never really close.' But Zayn's first interviews in 2016 he spoke about some ppl changing their phone numbers and not calling him back. Etc clearly Liam and Louis were answering, well Louis is now. In one interview or his book he said he emails between one member, pretty sure it's Niall. Harry clearly hated when his name was mentioned in 2015. The zebra thing or when he said the hardest thing about Zayn leaving was the paperwork. They both need to be on a season of bad girls club, talk out their drama.
louis wasnt talking to Zayn then..he only did once because his dying asked him too. liam was because he wants to do R&B Music..and wants more connections I think..Niall was polite and said hello when walking by at an awards show..he never ran into Harry yet..and Nothing will change until zayn stops talking about them in a negative way. its too bad he did everything the way he did..because this video is great..no wonder Harry was so hurt.

Harrry exposes really well his love and gratitude for One Direction in his documentary he has nothing negative abt us the fans, the music, the things we Yes we did for them. From my point of view, I think that Zayn was forced by his management to tell that lie just for selling more or for making seem that he was never happy in 1D, even though he was it. But, I even though he wanted to say it, he is lying to himself because that isn't true and fiar for him and all the other 1D members and Directioners.

May be Zayn get hurt by Harry for some reason when Zayn was in 1D. That's why Zayn want distance from Harry. And i noticed they didn't talk too much when Zayn almost leave 1D.
I don't believe that for a second! Zayn left first because he got caught cheating on Perrie & ran after her..then with influence from Naughty boy and whoever else..(maybe perrie) he decided to quit..and say he just wanted to be Normal..but within weeks he was in the studio with naughtyboy. Besides the cheating pix's coming out..I think he knew exactly what he was doing..and decided even though he left because of Negative press & Relationship issues..he decided to seize the moment to get a jump on Harry & the guys and go solo first. At that time..I don't think it had anything to do with health issues..those were excuses that came after..and i still think it stemmed from doing drugs. I know many young ppl who developed anxiety AFTER doing drugs for a year or so..they stopped going to work,.withdrew from most ppl..and stayed home and got stoned all the time..thats what can happen. Harry did nothing but be a good role model. I mean really? what the hell COULD harry have done to Hurt Zayn? Harry had no more control over anything then the other guys did.. and knowing what a kind soul he is,,there's no way anyone believes for a minute Harry would say or do anything to hurt Zayn. It's Zayns actions that Hurt everyone else. They went through hell for a while, and thankfully pushed through to be even Better after Zayn! but what Zayn did was kind of unforgivable..the WAY he did it. it was selfish & Back stabbing. I think you are very biased and never liked Zayn to begin with....that's why you say such negative things without even knowing Zayn but say such positive things about Harry without really knowing him either.... The so called pictures never showed him sleeping with a girl....He just had his hand around her waist just like so many of their pictures with their female fans and he did have an eating disorder as he was so thin in so many of his pictures but as soon as he visited his moms house for a long break he come back all healthy and happy....Zayn and Perrie's relationship was never real .... They looked so awkward with each other... She even admits in her song that she never loved him......I do believe that Zee left 1D because he had a disagreement with someone as he left in a spur of the moment without taking any of his belongings or changing his cloths after the concert....
